Title: What song will they play at your funeral?

Morbid topic huh?

I really want this song played at mine.  It is specified in my will and my attorney has the CD in a vault.

I always tell my son I want to be cremated and placed in a clear jar on the mantel so I can see out.   :-)

I'm going to be cremated and mixed with resin....then made into keychains for friends and family, so they always carry me with them.

I don't know if this is the song that will be played at my funeral but when I first heard this song, it seemed so beautiful to me that something akin to this would be what I would hear when I know I am about to depart.  It just echoes with Eternity.

 I don't really want a song. I want to be cremated and my ashes scattered on my first wife's rug. Then I would like a very solemn dance of the twist to ensue to the beat of tom toms preformed  by the neighbors...

When discussing this subject, my mother always said that she wanted to be buried in a glass casket so that she could see out - directly into the concrete vault.

She wound up with a standard wooden casket.

I can't post a performance of Philip Sparke's Euphonium Concerto, 2nd movement in particular, but that is a wonderfully compelling piece that just grips me.
