You've ever eaten, spice-wise??
Mine was Dave's Insanity Sauce. Not realizing just exactly what it was, I used it on some tacos like you would use Tampico. After two bites, it was a, HOLY SHIT THIS IS HOT! moment. Believe it or not, I liked it enough that I continued to use it as a taco sauce.
Ya I like hot food, food that makes you sweat is a good thing. :hyper:

It was a habanero bbq sauce. Puree'd habaneros, some KC Masterpiece, and guava paste (I think that Wild Wings place has something similar, but I don't know how hot theirs is).

I do, and I paid for it for a week. 24 of their hottest wings...
I'd do it again... :-)

If your waitress brings you a roll of Tums and TP with your entree, you know you're in for trouble.

I went to an indian restaurant once and ordered a "hot" chicken curry.....I honestly couldn't even finish it because there was not enough water in the restaurant for me...

Once when I was eating sushi, I ended up with too much wasabi in my mouth, and it was so spicy that my ears started ringing :bawl:

I have a bottle of this

up in the cabinet.
I've used about 7 drops of it in the past 6 months or so. Got it as a Christmas present.

I don't know about sauce. Hottest dish I've ever had? I'd say it's a toss up between a duck dish I had in a small restaurant in D.C., and the curry #25 at Pizza and Curry in Misawa, Japan. The curry at Pizza and Curry went on a scale from 0 to 30. Then Special 1, 2, and 3. The #25 kicked my ass, the Special #3 would probably have killed me instantly.

I saw a show, on FoodTV I think, where they showed that he (Dave) uses pure capsaicin. :fuelfire:

I never enjoyed spicy foods until a few years ago.
Most "mild" salsa tasted hot to me. Friends of mine would "wolf" the stuff down, and I would complain that it was "too hot"
Of course, they all smoked and I didn't, maybe they didn't have any taste buds?
Now I like a little spice once in a while.
My dad always used alot of hot sauce on tacos and stuff. I never did growing up, or even when I would cook for them. My dad was quite shocked when he seen me using & trying more sauce then him at a Mexican resturant a few years ago...
I gradually started to enjoy spicy warm foods about the year 2000...never thought I would ever enjoy it, but now I often crave it!
I'm not crazy enough to want to try any of the insanity sauces, etc. Save that sauce for the crazy folks. :mental: :lmao:
