Tolerance vs. Acceptance
When looking at the issue of GLBT equality I find myself running into my own prejudices on the issue. I'd be a complete liar to say that I view a married homosexual couple in the same light as a married heterosexual couple. The same for a homosexual couple raising a child vs. a heterosexual couple. Still I then ask the question...Should that matter? Should it matter how I feel or others feel rather than equality being on the table. In the end what is more valuable: That more people accept homosexuality as equal in their minds and heterosexuality or that people agree that regardless of what they think homosexuals should receive equal treatment under the law.

To enter this Deep Thought the Little Goon had to skip over the logic which would counter his Deep Thoughts and jump straight into somewhere beyond the truth.
The flown-over logic is that we all have "equal rights" right now. The "somewhere beyond the truth" is that to go out of our way to bestow special rights on folks who base their lives on deviant same-gender sex organ stimulation constitutes unequal rights. Equal rights and special rights cannot coexist without the former losing its purpose.

WTF? How hypocritical can a person be? Seriously, the OP says he believes one thing, but acts in a different way just to be politically correct? Personally I think this DUmmie just talks the talk on the Island, but in real life is out there protesting against gay marriage and "equal rights" for queers.
