These where pictures of his first birthday cake.  I'll have more pictures soon of his day at the zoo.  His real birthday is the 21st, but we celebrated today because his Grandma (my mom) came down to visit.

His happy birthday had a bad ending.  He got to much sun today at the zoo and got a bit dehydrated, and consequentially he got constipated.  Well we got a couple bottles of water into him tonight, and helped to get the plumbing running.  This happened to coincide with his upset tummy from eating way to much cake.

Suffice to say...  it was very messy...

Gosh DJ...he's adorable!

I remember when you posted pictures of your wedding...then telling us that you and Mrs DJ were having a baby....then pictures of your son when he was born.....now he's turning one.

Unfortunately he picked a bug up at the zoo yesterday.  He's got diahrea now.   :(

Did he notice the animals much? Did you ride the train and go to the Children's Zoo?

The picture with the cake all over him reminds me of the main character in "Slumdog Millionaire" when he was a little boy and he jumped in a pile of crap to get out of an outhouse.   :-)

He is so adorable, I want him.  Can I has him?

I about died laughing! Each pick got progressively messier and ended up in the bathtub.
Ya told quite a story. And the mournful look in the tub.
