5-1 panel literally SHOUTS DOWN Shrum and the mere suggestion that CIA would mislead
Where? Surprise! Morning Joe. The Torture Party is out in full force today. I'm no fan of Bob Shrum, but I don't think I've ever seen such a display rudeness and childish behavior on a supposed news/issues program. Against a panel completely stacked with right wing Torture Party operatives, Shrum recounted the history of the CIA lying and misleading, from the Bay of Pigs to Iran Contra to Iraq...he was quite literally shouted down and laughed at, often by all five of his hosts at the same time. After ten minutes of refusing to allow him to make his case, they said "This was FUN!" and asked if he'd come back tomorrow...to which Shrum said yes.
Bob, that was your opportunity to tell them all to shove it up their collective ass.

1. When is someone going to say:
"Who cares whether or not Nancy knew? How does that change the fact that the White House sanctioned torture?"

8. they won't. they like this focus better than on any actual news or doing anything about what the bush administration did. torture is illegal. they sanctioned torture.... are there not other people in other countries being focused on for this kind of stuff. the fact that we won't hold our own accountable makes me sick.

7. television is a powerful drug and these folks are all junkies....regardless of how they're treated
Yeah, especially among primitives addicted to television because reading a newspaper or newsmagazine is too much work, too hard.

9. From what I saw the entire topic was supposed to be about division on "the left"
Guess what you chattle WE are allowed to say if we disapprove of "our leader"'s decision. WE have no hierarchy of message on what and how to talk about everything. Yeah WE aren't "on message" like the right but then again WE haven't been consistently wrong about every single thing for 40 years.
Hmmmmm.

HEY DUmbasses, the Bush administration believes that it was not torture. bella pelosi believes it is torture and went along with it. Of the two pelosi is the criminal.

Unfortunately, like most communist regimes, the current one is rewriting history to make waterboarding a crime, and making President Bush and his administration criminally responsible at the same time. 0Bama and his thugs have no respect for laws or the US Constitution. This was proven when they made a tax law that taxed the AIG bonuses at nearly 100%.

...primitives discuss shoving it up their rectal apertures...
Was anyone else a little afraid to even look at this thread based on Frank's title?

Yup.
If it was anyone but Frank I might have skipped it, lol.
Does Pelosi even know what she knew? (http://www.gop.gov/media/features/09/05/19/what-did-speaker-pelosi-know) (when she knew and if she knowingly changed her mind and/or if what she knows now might change in the future?)

No. Aside from his astoundingly misguided respect for Skimmer, the coach is a paragon of propriety. If that were not enough, I'd remember that benburch has been tombstoned.

I certainly trust Frank, I was just commenting on the interesting thread title.

Well, as I mentioned to Tanker yesterday, I'm trying some new things to grab eyes.
This is one of them; there'll be more.

Nothing wrong with that at all. As long as it draws eyeballs, puts asses in the seats, etc.
I just get a touch squeamish when clicking a link with the term "rectal aperture" . :-)

I hope you noticed, sir, that when those words are used, it's a signal that a certain primitive's at the bonfire quoted.

Apparently DUmmy atman and Head DUmmy Skimmer did not attend the same university.

Nancy was fine with waterboarding, because she understood that it is a fear tactic, not torture. The problem arose when she started calling it "torture" for political points. Talk about a flip-flop!! :loser:
