Police: Teen Had Sex With Girl's Body
Alexander Pacheco Bragged To Friend About Corpse
POSTED: 12:29 pm MDT May 13, 2009
BOULDER, Colo. -- The 18-year-old Broomfield man accused in the slaying of a 13-year-old girl admitted to several friends that he killed her, according to evidence laid out in a preliminary hearing Wednesday in Boulder.
Alexander Paul Pacheco is charged with first-degree murder in the October 2008 slaying of Kelsey Shannon. Her badly decomposed remains were found in a Broomfield drainage ditch last January.
An autopsy determined that Kelsey died as a result of "homicidal violence."
According to testimony in Pacheco's preliminary hearing, he told a friend he strangled Shannon "until her eyes rolled back in her head." He then stabbed her in the throat multiple times to make sure she was dead.
Also revealed in court Wednesday: Pacheco admitted to a friend that he had sex with the corpse afterward until the body turned cold. He faces an additional charge of abuse of a corpse, based on that admission.
A friend of Pacheco told police that Pacheco took him to the area where he had dumped the body and said he wanted to retrieve a condom that he used after killing Kelsey. The friend told police that Pacheco also showed a lock of hair he kept in a tissue that he said belonged to Kelsey.
Pacheco visited the body several times in a watery marsh, according to police. Pacheco may have tried moving it with a sled to better hide it and also debated putting in a barrel filled with soda and bleach in the hopes it would eat away at the body. He said he could smash the teeth and spread them over Colorado so police couldn't identify the remains through dental records

2. I'm a lonely and miserable person, BUT...
...one of the reasons I'm lonely is that I have my limits. One of them is that a woman I want to know must have a pulse and be conscious. That eliminates nearly all women for me.
I guess it's some degree of satisfaction that there are men more desperate and less discriminating than I.

3. say what? Are you suggesting that almost all women
are not conscious? Way to make this story all about you.

6. no, he's suggesting that he's lonely
because he wouldn't knock a woman unconscious, let alone kill her, in order to have sex with her.
He's also recently unemployed, so probably a wee bit depressed and very lonely with no job to go to and economy so very bleak.
So you could just try to read for comprehension and cut him a break.

10. thanks for filling me in on the poster. too bad YOU
don't follow your own advice about cutting people a break, dear. His post was very ambiguous and hardly had the background you filled in. And I'm not the only person who was puzzled by his odd remark. Take your own advice before sanctimoniously lecturing others. And my comment was not particularly harsh or unpleasant.

7. No, almost all women hate and despise me.
That's the "conscious" part. I could go for a corpse if I had no standards, but that's about the only relationship with a woman I could have.
And yes, it is all about me. Because I don't know how anyone else does this relationship stuff, nobody will freaking tell me, and movies and TV shows don't explain it. I didn't get that instruction manual at birth, like the rest of you.
The exception: my mother loved me, but she's dead.
Well, this murderer, as I said, found a way to beat the system. But even I couldn't follow him. I'd rather be miserable and lonely than be a ghoul. How about you guys?

14. Even Hitler had a girlfriend, dude
There's someone for everyone. That you wouldn't hump a dead person is a sign that you have at least one redeeming quality.
And the secret for getting a girlfriend? STOP worrying about it so much. I went through college lonely and depressed, thinking no woman would want me. And none did. As soon as I got out of school, I said to hell with it all. I was tired of being miserable. I just focused on my job and working out and hobbies. Suddenly, I was like Hugh Hefner.
And just let me warn you: relationships sometimes aren't as wonderful as advertised.

5. Thank goodness you have some limits
I just hope you are not communicating well, rather than the implication that you are lonely because you limit your sexual activity to breathing women.

8. murder and sex with a corpse
isn't about loneliness or even sex.
It's about power. The sadistic murderer feels powerless. He gains power by finding someone weaker, murdering them and ****ing (pissing in) their remains.
I considering locking someone like this up for life to be cruel and inhumane punishment. He's past rehabilitation, I can't get into revenge, yet he remains a danger to society. Personally, I'm for euthanasia.

19. One HONEST puppy. I don't lie to myself.
And if more people stopped lying to themselves here, they might lead better lives. At least I'm not a macho jerk who abuses women. Women don't let me get that close. They DO welcome the handsome, strong, rich guys who beat the crap out of them.

I'm pleased to learn that DUmmy stevenumbers is still around, using a new screen name.
Going for a corpse sounds like your only option, you sick ****.
He sounds like an excellent sales prospect for one of those life-sized 'Dolls' I saw featured in a BBC America episode on that particular variety of weirdness.

34. Disgusting!
There be a island to toss all these psychos.
You know, I'm betting this attitude shows right up front to most women. They generally steer clear of a total lack of confidence and someone that projects total loser(even if they are not, which in this case..well..). The other guy gave him the best advice, but I'm sure he'll still rely on the "nobody loves me mantra" and that is to forget about meeting someone and just enjoy life. That kind of vibrance is attractive and even if you don't meet someone, at least you've lived a good, meaningful, and fulfilling life in every other way.Hi-5 Absolutely...I don't get people who sit on the sidelines of life bitching that they don't have anyone and instead blame other people for their own lack of motivation to get out there and live. Most people steer clear of what I like to call "emotional leeches" they require an impossible amount of attention and even when they get it it's never enough! :cheersmate:
As an aside, if the one believed in God, he might actually think that perhaps his life was meant to be dedicated to something else? Last I checked around the world, there are plenty of worthwhile causes out there that someone without a life could dedicate that life too. I suppose it is easier to be perpetually unhappy and miserable though.
