Title: Former First Lady Nancy Reagan Hospitalized After Fall

SANTA MONICA, Calif.  —  Nancy Reagan's spokeswoman says the former first lady has been hospitalized after falling in her Bel-Air home.

Spokeswoman Joanne Drake says the 86-year-old Reagan was taken to St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica for examination, where doctors determined she did not break a hip as feared in the Sunday morning fall.

Drake says Reagan is staying overnight at the hospital in the same room where former president Ronald Reagan was hospitalized when he broke his hip at home in 2001.

She says Reagan is doing well and "joking and visiting in her room."

She is feisty lady and I am glad she is doing okay.

a full and speedy recovery to her.  I realize she is 86, but was a bit surprised at how frail she looked at the GOP debate at the reagan library last month.

I don't think she has ever weighed more than 90 pounds in her life.  I use to worry about her walking under the chopper blades when leaving or returning to the White House.

Poor thing. I totally disagreed with what she said about ESCR, but I hope she's doing better and I'm praying she makes a speedy recovery.   :(

Prayers for her and I am pleased to see she is doing well.

At 86, osteoporosis is always a problem.
