and the sun is shining! Monday is behind us and Friday can be seen on the horizon!
Need to decide where to plant the 3 baby trees my little guy game home with yesterday, then get offa my butt and go do it!
Trying to figure out how to get my daughter home from school after she's done with the lab she has to stay after and do (missed it last week while we were gone). We have a baseball game to go to tonight, and she also has dance. Guess I can take the car and drop it off at the school for her.
I think there are only like 3 weeks of school left...wow! That went fast!

Had an epiphany in renting a car for our 10 year wedding anniversary trip to Hilo, HI, next week.
Create a corporate account with Enterprise. Voila! Very, very competitive rates.
Only problem is, the freakin' office is closed when our flight arrives! :banghead:

today is Second tuesday at the zoo. I think I will go there, as they need volunteers as the zoo offers reduced price admissions.
Yesterday I watched a little fun time the staff had trying to train an eagle. She hadn't been out for a while, so she flew off to a high tree over the band-shell and just enjoyed the sunshine. The staff tried to entice her with mice, quail and lots of whistles. She wasn't interested. They can go 17 days without wanting food.
The crows in the area don't like eagles, so after a while they ganged up on her and chased her from the tree, so she camped on top of the snow cone stand. And from there the staff was able to bring her back inside.
I also read "Witches Abroad" by Terry Prattchett. I recommend that to all conservatives. It is a better anti socialist tract than Atlas Shrugged by a long shot.
And I really like Magrat.

I love that school is out for a couple weeks or so... but it will be nothing but work and moving. :yawn: :(
I was filling a friend in on my Six Flags excursion via Facebook, and when I brought up Georgia Scorcher, he said "Oh, you mean "Georgia ScorchMyBalls?" :o
I had no idea, but apparently that coaster is not too friendly to the men... :lmao: He said the way the seats are designed crushed him in the worst possible spot... :o

I'm not doing a damned thing today.
It's softly raining out here in the Sandhills of Nebraska, but that's good, that's pleasant, and has nothing to do with my not doing a thing today.

It's Tuesday, which means I get to look forward to a productive day off from work tomorrow. I may go see the new Star Trek movie at the IMAX and I'll drop a couple of wheels off at the repair shop. There may or may not be rain tomorrow... hopefully it will pass tonight. I'm still trying to get these damn valves off so I can take the cylinder head to a machine shop and start shopping for a camshaft.
