CHICAGO — Local media reports say Drew Peterson was arrested Thursday in connection with the death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.
Peterson will likely be charged in the death of Kathleen Savio, who was found dead in a bathtub in her home on March 1, 2004, according to CBS2chicago.com.
MyFOXChicago.com reported that Peterson was arrested at 5:35 p.m. Thursday after state police surrounded his car. Peterson was alone in his car at the time.
Six state police searched Peterson's home, MyFOXChicago.com reported.
Peterson has been a suspect in the disappearance of his 23-year-old wife Stacy Peterson, who vanished on Oct. 28, 2007, from her Bolingbrook, Ill., home.
In the months following Stacy Peterson's disappearance, Savio's body was exhumed and her 2004 bathtub drowning death was re-classified as a homicide.

Hope they find wife #4 so she can have a proper burial. He's been free a long time, about time they looked into the death of wife #3. Heard he has a huge bail, doubt if he'll be out anytime soon. Wonder if that naive young woman who was aiming to be wife #5 is standing by her man. The Chicago police probably saved her life by arresting him.

He knows how this all works...my guess is he'll tell them where she's at to either save himself from the needle or to get a shot a parole in about 50 years.

You're right. I have a little experience with such matters, and they don't put them into protective custody until AFTER their life has been threatened or they have been attacked. Sometimes it is too late! 'specially with child molesters.

Personally, my intuition tells me the cocky asshole is guilty as sin. However, I'll wait until he *IS* found guilty by a jury of his peers BEFORE I let the Snoopy Dance bust a move.

Nope, I vote for an Ultimate DUmmy Fight between Vast Teddy "The Swimmer" Kennedy, and another incorigable lard ass, possibly Bwaney Fwank. The winner gets to take Peterson out for a night on the town (either Teddy lays him out next to Mary Jo, or Bwaney gets to, umm "have his way" with him.)
