Supreme Court Denies Demjanjuk's Deportation Plea
The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected a bid by alleged Nazi death camp guard John Demjanjuk to stop his deportation to Germany.
Justice John Paul Stevens on Thursday made no comment as he denied Demjanjuk's request. A German arrest warrant accuses him of 29,000 counts of accessory to murder during World War II.
Lawyers for the 89-year-old retired autoworker from suburban Cleveland say he's in poor health and too frail to be sent overseas.

1. Good. 89 yr olds can and do fly overseas all the time.
That in itself is not an adequate reason to not go to trial in Germany.

3. While this is good news, anyone else noting a disconnect here?
the Supreme Court doesn't even give a statement when denying the bid of an alleged death camp guard... But we're very, very, VERY busy "debating" admitted torture in our own prison camps, and whether anyone should be held responsible.
