Manny Ramirez has tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs and will be suspended 50 games starting today, The Times has learned.
The test result and suspension is expected to be announced later today.The suspension, which is expected to begin with tonight's game, makes him the biggest star penalized under baseball's testing program that started in 2003.

I think it could be good for baseball in a backhanded way. Many fans have thought that MLB has been covering for the superstars of the game or just not testing them. This helps to disprove that theory.

Heard it was some female hormone. Who cares, maybe that hormone keeps him from cutting off those "purty" locks?
Frankly, as far as I'm concerned, the PROFESSIONAL athletes can use anything they want to increase their performance in the game. The only reason the earlier athletes didn't use them is because they didn't have them available.
