Seriously soggy outside today, and it doesn't look to get any better today!  I'm about 99% sure the game for tonight will be cancelled.

Heading to the Evil Walmart in a bit to get stuff for the trip Wednesday (fun stuff, like hairpins, fake eyelashes, black fingernail polish...LOL...choreographer has an interesting vision of what the girls will look like).  Also going to try to get some food in the house for the men-folk.

Hope I don't get the swine flu in the airports!  :-)

Over six inches of rain here since Friday.  Good thing I live on a hill.   :-)

Discovered my office window STILL leaks.   :banghead:  My desk is soggy and standing in water.  The :censored: building maintenance wonks have been "working on it" for over a year.

Getting ready for the big college graduation on Friday and the arrival of the outlaws inlaws Wednesday night.

Grass still isn't growing.  Need rain.  Need to reseed and fertilize.

Maybe I'll just forgo OT tonight and head to Homey Depot.  We're supposed to get some rain this week after all.

Been mostly cloudy with spots of rain here and there since Thursday evening or so.  My neighbor had the driver's side windows broken out of their Cadilac yesterday morning, so she's got a tarp wedged into the doors trying to keep the rain off the leather.

A mostly sunny day here.  Apparently a turtle dove has taken a liking to the vines growing on an arbor at the end of our sidewalk.

Only one baby in the nest.  It took a while to find a time when mama wasn't around.

Mama bird let me get within a foot or so, without taking off.

Great picture!  I'm tempted to sit on my back deck with this monster lens we have been loaned and see what there is to see in the trees out back...if it ever stops raining, that is!

I agree, great picture!

Work was a typical busy first part of the month Monday.

After work, I stopped by my mom's, she gave me some stew that she made, I came home and ate, then took a several hour nap.
