Oh my.

It's rare that richboy playboy Pedro and franksolich are wandering around on Skins's island at exactly the same time; this is brand-new.

Who the hell is Les Gelb and was he just on my TV?

I thought we were done with the Irag Invasion apologists. Yet here is another angry fat old white man stuck on the tired old "but EVERYBODY thought Saddam had WMD!" Does he really think he's going to sell books with disproved fairy tale, especially as the torture memos are revealing our worst fears about the invasion.

Oh, wait...he was a guest on Morning Joe. Just there to help prop up Joe's collapsing base. Never mind.

Okay, so this is richboy playboy Pedro, and so naturally a question.

Richboy playboy Pedro alleges this "Joe" guy, whoever this "Joe" guy is (remember, franksolich doesn't watch television) has a "collapsing base."

Which leads me to suspect, since it's richboy playboy Pedro saying it, that this "Joe" guy is actually on the ascendant.

Anybody know?

It's Joe Scarborough on MSNBC, former Republican Congressman from Pensacola, Florida.  Pedro watches the show everyday and then complains fairly often about who's on the show and/or something that was said that doesn't fit his warped viewpoints.  It's how he gets his morning "miserable" fix so that he can spend the rest of the day hunting for other things to make him mad.  No one ever said Pedro had critical reasoning abilities.

Thanks, USA4ME, sir.  I vaguely recall I might have read a book by Joe Scarborough, but I'm thinking more it was by a radio personality based in or near San Francisco.

I'm not kidding when I say I can't keep talking-heads straight, because I never watch them, or hear them on the radio.  (I do however do a whale of a job keeping track of publishing personalities, way down to third-assistant editors.)

It's very sad, in a way.  If by chance richboy playboy Pedro and franksolich were ever to meet in real life, there'd be nothing we could talk about, what with richboy playboy Pedro's fixation on "personalities" and "celebrities," and franksolich's fixation on Things That Really Matter.   Alas, no common ground there.
