Man stuffed cat inside 'bong'
OMAHA, Neb. – A man who tried to cool out his hyper cat by stuffing her into a boxlike homemade bong faces cruelty charges — and catcalls from animal lovers. Lancaster County sheriff's deputies responding to a domestic disturbance call Sunday alleged they saw 20-year-old Acea Schomaker smoking marijuana through a piece of garden hose attached to a duct-taped, plastic glass box in which the cat had been stuffed.
"This cat was just dazed," Sgt. Andy Stebbing said. "She was on the front seat of the cop car, wrapped in a blanket, and never moved all the way to the humane society."
Schomaker told deputies 6-month-old Shadow was hyper and he was trying to calm her down. The contraption she had been stuffed inside was 12 inches by 6 inches. Shadow was timid but in good condition Monday at the Capital Humane Society, executive director Bob Downey said.
"What the human mind doesn't invent, huh?" Downey said.

Sounds like something a primitive would do.

1. Someone should stuff that idiot into a bong...
Just when I think that people cannot get any more stupid!!
The driving primitive, despite his post count, obviously doesn't spend much time on Skins's island.

2. He'd probably like being stuffed into a bong...

It's not a rethread, though.
This is the first time it's been posted here.
The deal is, there's not many primitives in Nebraska, and so that state forum on Skins's island is pretty empty. I don't want to bother going back to check, but if memory serves me correctly, this bonfire from March 3 is either the second- or third-most "recent" post there.
Not much happens with primitives in Nebraska.

really, I thought I'd read that before.
must happen a lot with DUmmies.

Perhaps it is due to the fact that the lion's share of Nebraskans are not mentally defective enough to become primitives?

I wish it were so, but actually we have our proportion of them.
We're just such a small state; DemonicUnderwear's immediate neighborhood down there in Dallas-Fort Worth has more people than all the 77,000 square miles of Nebraska.
NOT that I'm complaining.

I think the original article was posted in the "General" or "Lounge" forums, but I don't remember the DU discussion.

Google Ernie Chambers, State Senetor of Nebraska and tell me that they don't have some real liberal asshats there in Nebraska.

I never was a cat person until we took care of my sister's cat. Then, Oreo became available . . . so we provided a home. She took about ten minutes and twenty seconds to take over the apartment. Today, The Heiress loves Oreo, Oreo seems to tolerate The Heiress, and Oreo twists my tail every chance she gets--but she knows who is the boss. (She is, BTW.)
I would absolutely love to get a stray and intorduce said stray to Queen Oreo. Alas, I don't have the Coach's room for a bunch of cats. (I really wish I did.) My wife would shoot me, unless we got a bigger place.

Yeah, room helps, plus all the nature outdoors.
However, I remain perplexed that while each individual cat here--Abbie, Snow, Harold, Ellie, Gustav, William, and Decker--has, per capita, or rather, per catita, something a little more than half a tennis court inside the house, plenty of room for each and all, they still have some really big "territorial" spats.
