They have a toddler together. I love my crocs. When you have three young sons and you are chasing them in and out of the water in the summer, you will appreciate them.
My husband refused to be seen in public with me if I wore them - until he saw me go into the pool after the kids, come out and my shoes were bone dry. Now he wants some.

I guess I am a bit too high-maintenance, because I am used to slipping on my cheaper knee-high boots (The Brighton boots don't go anywhere, unless it's some place FUN, like the GTG) when I go places, even to the store. Plus, I don't want people seeing my pasty white feet right now. :bolt: I need to find my small wedge sandals (when I mean small, they are no more than an inch and a half thick). They'll be a lot easier for me to go places without having to sit on the floor like with my boots, and tug them on and pull up the damn zippers. LOL

Lauri, some men simply don't have friends close enough to tell them when they are making a SERIOUS mistake. I have a couple of men in my circle of friends who I caught trying to come out of the closet. I closed the door on them really quickly! I think I have managed to save both of them but it was a close call. This is in TEXAS! We don't put up with that shit here. We feel your pain. He must proceed immediately to http://www.harley-davidson.com if there is to be any hope of saving him. Followed by a quick visit to http://armyparatrooper.org (where he will find many links to manly things and enjoy many manly conversations) . I recommend he follow these steps as many times a day as needed. Of course if he visits the first site enough .... he won't have anytime to be wearing no stinkin' crocs because he will be out riding his new Harley!

That does help quite a bit but DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT let him visit all 3 of those sites in the same day .... it could lead to testosterone overdose. When this condition occurs you could find him doing something like; Riding the Harley out of the back of an airplane while it is flight, trying to shoot ducks on his way down!
He may be saved yet but monitor him carefully and if he moves toward the crocs make him take the Harley out for a ride.

They are so gay that the only openly gay person I know on this board thinks they are too gay to wear. Bri your hubby is just sad. And to think the USMC let him fight.*
*Bri's hubby isn't really gay. He is a hard ass Marine capable of ripping my liver out through my nose without even a drop of blood spilling. I have to make fun of him though because he reminds me of the little brother my parents deprived me of being able to torture growing up. :-)

That's not to say that there aren't any gay Marines out there that couldn't rip my liver out without spilling blood. My liver would probably already be packed and ready to go and happy not to make a mess just to leave my body.

As a funny little side note (YMMV), a guy at the government place I am consulting at wears dress pants, dress shirts, a tie, and Crocs, since the formal Dress Code for Management lays out the first three, but is silent on footwear.
He is really good at what he does and everyone understands his humor so it works well. And good for him for exactly meeting the crieteria.

The first time I saw Crocs (or some Croc-like footwear) one of the cooks at work was wearing them. A couple months later, all the cooks were wearing them. They didn't have the holes that Crocs did, but they looked the same other than being all black. Good traction and grease-proof shoes are always a plus in a busy kitchen.
