This crap is just so revolting, and the Christ-like pose is offensive. He's just a politician, people.

Now surgically remove the galaxy-sized ego and narcissism. Wouldn't you be thoroughly appalled, enough to stop the exhibition? Look, I'm not super-religious, but this is so over the top, if I were him, I'd be afraid of meeting my Maker, after breaking the first commandment.

Post by: jtyangel on April 28, 2009, 07:00:08 AM: I'd like to believe the 'truth' the artist is trying to convey is actually a satirical look at the followers of Obama--poking fun at their ridiculous adoration of someone who is, after all, just a man, however, being this is an arteest, the liklihood is he/she is a leftist of the highest order and actually made this in honor of Obama and probably doesn't appreciate what it says about those who 'believe' in 'the one'. He/she probably got great glee at kissing the behind of his lord and master while swiping at the Christian right all at the same time.
