Police break up rowdy crowd of 400 students near Kent State campus (http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2009/04/police_breaks_up_rowdy_crowd_o.html)
KENT -- Police using tear gas and rubber bullets broke up a crowd of at least 400 college students Saturday night who used couches to build a towering fire on a city street just of the Kent State campus.
But after 9 p.m., some of the flames shot 25-feet in the air, touching the power lines. And some of the students were challenging officers, ripping down stop signs.
About 9:30 p.m., police in riot gear moved in. Throngs of students ran from the tear gas toward nearby Franklin Hall, which had been locked.
At 10 p.m., more than two dozen police and fire vehicles surrounded the area. They came from as far away as Cuyahoga Falls in Summit County.

According to Fox News Radio, the police attempted to arrest a drunk woman and the crowd attacked them, throwing rocks and objects at them. Nothing in print yet.

You would have thought that students at Kent would have learned their lesson years ago...

There are very few problems that a proper amount of .30 cal. won't solve. My guess is that Garands would've worked just as well in this case as they did in the 60's.

Ya know, it's about damn time we started holding these ****-ups responsible for what they do. In my book this is arson! Was there any reference to the idiot responsible for the felony perpetuated?
I'm thinkin' we had the right idea the first time these morons tried this.
