VIENNA, Va. -- David Kellermann, acting chief financial officer of Freddie Mac, was found dead in his Hunter Mill Estates home Wednesday morning in what police say was an apparent suicide.
Fairfax County Police spokeswoman Mary Anne Jennings tells WTOP police responded to the Kellermann home after family members dialed 911 at 4:48 a.m.
Sources tell WTOP Kellermann hanged himself.
"We were called from inside the house to come investigate an apparent suicide," Jennings says.
"We're not going to give you details of the condition of the body, except to say it was an apparent suicide."

I guess being a crook was just too much for him to deal with. Now if only everyone else involved in Fannie and Freddie would follow suit. Even better for America they would have done it BEFORE they phucked over the U.S. economy.

So the "suicides" begin.

Must cover their tracks.............beginning to sound like a DUmmie, ain't I.

This must be the new bonus/retirement program of the 0Bama administration.

Guy was only 41....I'm sure he didn't know anything underhanded going on there. :whatever:
-
Obama had him "Wellstoned" before he could go public with the truth. [/du]

The guy was acting CFO.....he took the job after Freddie Mac announced they were in trouble.
Wonder if the guy was murdered and it just looks like a suicide......
-
Pretty harsh comments, I don't know if this guy really had any policy-making role in the organization prior to his current acting-CFO gig (Which I assume is fairly recent) so I personally would hesitate to speak so ill of him.
-
Whatever the situation, it is odd. He had a 5 yr old daughter, was only 41 and supposedly had a good marriage. Terrible for his family. It does make you wonder if there's not a more sinister event behind his death. Awfully controversial timing. My hubby, who hasn't got a troofer bone in his body, said right off that it struck him as perhaps arranged. On Fox though, they said that no foul play was suspected. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Sounds like the Clinton years all over again.
Harsh comments or not, anyone that is selfish enough to kill themself is still a major idiot in my book. I guess he got his bail out.

"He killed himself by running himself over with his car three times."

It's sad for the family and I doubt he's responsible for for the collapse and I doubt this excuses my own comment but...
...had this been done during Bush's tenure there would already be 200 conspiracy websites and Kieth Olberman would open his show tonight with demands for an investigation, only different from the other 3 already done.
Hell, the dipwads may do it yet as the meltdown essentially started on Bush's watch and they blame him CRA et al notwithstanding.
-
Maxine Waters and Barney Frank say he’s feeling just fine.
-
How sad. The timing is interesting. *sigh* Is it 2012 yet?
-
Has anyone raided his office for records yet?

By the time the authorities get around to it,, 0Bama and his thugs will have tossed the joint.

I hope these CTs are only in jest.

I hope these CTs are only in jest.
Of course, but like all good jests it is based on a certain amount of shared history and truth.

Will be interesting to see what the autopsy shows.

Vince Foster commited "suicide" too.

Which Clinton friend was it that secured a knife to a wall and then flung himself backwards on it 14 times?

All of them.
