Is this War Worth It?
Hundreds of thousands of soldiers have come home from the wars in the Middle East in body bags, in pieces, or not at all. Countless civilians have been slaughtered without cause, and still, we are no closer to eliminating, or even finding the threats. Now terrorism has not only stopped many people from seeing the world, or feeling safe in their own home, but it has driven us to willingly send our loved ones into harms way, with little chance they will return.

So much wrong in so few sentences...

I think someone is trying to get street cred...

1. Clarification.."worth it" to who?
Somebody is benefiting or it and the countless others before would not be happening.

I don't think I am benefiting, I am paying for the war. Close to 60% of our taxes, now or later in debt, goes to war.
Our national image may not be benefiting.

The munition makers, oil oligarchs, politicians playing geo-political and power games...they seem to think it is worth it.
What should we be doing to make sure it is not worth it them??????

The left bandies around numbers like 1 million Iraqis killed, billions of dollars wasted, 60% of national taxes going to wars...

of course, they pull them out of their asses.

2. maybe
We should go back to the idea that who ever declared the war has to participate in it... It would never happen, but it's something to think about.

bin Laden declared war on us quiet a few years ago.

"What about the 200 million people who were lost in the Atlantic crossing?  Very conservative estimates say that the slave trade, just the crossing of the Atlantic, bringing the slaves across, there were 200 million people who died just coming across. So great was the number of people who were thrown overboard that it altered the ecology of the ocean. The sharks even now trace -- or follow after ships along a trail seeking the flesh that was thrown overboard in all those years 200 years of the slave trade." - Major Owens

The DUmmie is way out of date on his numbers.  The 1,000,000 Iraqis killed is back from 2004, by now I think we killed the entire civilian population of Iraq and at least 1/3 of Iran.  :whatever:

Yes, I remember that cruel battle in the snow at Kuwaitigrad, at the end of the harsh winter retreat from our foothold in the Tigris Bend...

 :whatever:

What the fu.....dge?

Two hundred million people, transported across the Atlantic in 200 years, or about a million per year--and this not including those who survived.

How big were boats in those days?  The size of the Queen Mary?  And there were thousands of them?

The New York congressman is getting senescent in his old age.

...and with numbers that large, ergo, the constant need for 'fisting'.....a DUmmie tradition.

BTW: Spell checker must be a good conservative...it's never heard of 'fisting'.

That's about what my reaction was when I first heard that on Rush back in the 90s. Then I laughed.

A lot.

I think he was corrected...at length.  But not until everyone had a good, long laugh on him.  :lmao:

200 million is more than the population of the African continent during the 1600's, 1700's, and 1800's.  It must have been a lonely place.  Today's population is estimated at 500 million.  What a load of crap.

Major Owens also proposed a repeal of the Second Amendment some 10-12 years or so ago.

Its at least 40 Million Iraqis slaughtered in this illegal and immoral war, and eleventy-thousand Americans died for BusHitler fighting it. The injured in the middle east exceeds a billion, and 370 million in the United States - I don't have figures for the Allied dead and injured but I have it on good athority that it falls somewhere between 6 and 200 million. -  :fuelfire: :uhsure:
