My local radio station -- the one that plays Coast to Coast AM -- has been taken over by advertisements for industrial hemp (they have a catchy but annoying jingle) and Alex Jones peddling "survival seeds". Because regular seeds from the neighborhood arborist/florist are evil and poisoned.
Anyone noticed these ads?

No, I'm rarely stoned enough to listen to Coast to Coast. :rotf:
I do often listen to it when I am trying to fall asleep, but have not heard the ads.

It starts at midnight here, but we get a couple hours of the previous night's show before then. It's past my bedtime right now, but I can usually catch an entire show over two nights. It's mostly background noise but every once in a while, they will have something to pay attention to.
I saw George Noory on the Discovery Channel earlier today... something about UFO's.

I agree.
Lately there have several guests that don't care for President Obama.

Where I lived in Illinois, was known as the hemp captial of the world. In fact, the area even made the front page of High Times magazine.
Many police officers were dedicated to simply catch all those that would visit to harvest the ditch weed.
It was grown during the world wars for rope and stuff, and would grow wild all over the place since then.
