Title: Comment left on my blog about Obama's bow to Muslim King Abdullah
Post by: jinxmchue on April 10, 2009, 09:15:37 PM
Just soak in the awesomeness of this comment (added emphasis to the best part):

"I consider myself fortunate to have been born in a republic. I appreciate that as a citizen of a republic, I need not bow to any man or woman. We are all created equal, and blood lines do not make one person superior. This gesture by Obama should rankle every citizen for when Obama bowed as President of the United States, we all bowed."

That is a good comment, but I don't think it is true beyond the politics.  Since I live in a free republic (on paper anyway), the individual is primary, and no man can bow for me.  It is his act alone.
