Oh my.
The bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive, Chief S itting Bull.
One as usual hopes it comes out okay.

Well, Mrs R has been telling me that I need to get my head examined, so I did.
(I had to make a joke out of the situation, you know me, but I figured I owed you wonderful people an update after all the very touching replies to Cal Peg's thread about me not feeling well.)
Brain MRI on Saturday - first without, than another pass with a marker dye. Oddly enough, even with all the noise and banging I fell asleep yet again, as I've done in MRIs before. And I don't even like loud noises.
That following TWELVE tubes of blood taken on Friday.
If the doctor can't figure out what's wrong after all this, I give up.
I'm sleeping 16 hours a day, and falling down a lot. Got an impressive collection of bruises, though. Maybe I should post them on youtube; it might be some kind of record for one body.
So far, the likely culprits are either a spike in the MS, or the dreaded Big Leu-thing, because my white blood-cell count is astronomical and I've had Hemochromatosis for like forever.
But I gotta tell you, it was damn embarrassing walking into the clinic using a cane and with my older son holding my other elbow. I'm not THAT old, for God's sake.
But not to worry. I'm a Vermont Yankee after all, and our standard reply to stuff like this is "Ah, I'll be fine." And we usually are, because we're so damn cussed and stubborn.
Thank you all so much again for all your concern and good wishes. You guys are great. I'll be back as soon as I can, though it may not be soon.
Naturally one wishes Chief S itting Bull well, but there's something odd here, this "Vermont Yankee" bit. The bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive at other times has alleged to be of Native American descent, and of Irish derivation.
One wonders what's up with that.

24. My dear Flaxbee...
I do talk to him regularly, so no worries there...
He is dear to me, and we always have good conversations.

Oh.....my.
Another war hero.

In order for him to have his head examined, they had to remove it from his ass first....

Actually, to my surprise ..... no. He was a civilian.

Oh.
I had just skimmed that particular bonfire, not paying close attention.
Chief S itting Bull can be boring at times, making the Bostonian Drunkard look like the life of the party.
-
Hopefully these head examinations catch on at the DUmp.

Man, that would be something, if they were related.
Chief S itting Bull at various times has alleged to be of Vermont Yankee, Native American, and Irish, derivation.
The lying tits primitive most of the time alleged to have descended from the first European settlers to Texas, circa 1174 A.D. or something.

39. Whoa, Nelly! I didn't know that you were one of those sparky redheads that DU seems
to have so many of. Please allow me to make a personal comment and say that you're a damn attractive woman. (Can you tell I'm feeling a bit beter today?)
And you're a damn good friend, which is more important than looks, of course. Thank you for the kind words and wishes.

What's the story on the "sparky redheads" that seem to populate the island in vast quantities? I see there's a picture of Nelly, or Whoa, Nelly, I guess I should say, but is this a common occurence?

You'd be surprised at the history the now-mausoleumed lying tits primitive knew, that we didn't, including those of us with college degrees in history.

I dunno what the back story is but it seems odd to me that Whoa_Nelly is visiting friends in Tuscon and is apparently posting at the DUmp?
Sheesh. I hope I don't bore my friends so much when they come visit that they feel the need to spend time with their online friends.

I thought the first trip to the Americas by a European was made by Columbus in 1492? If not, it's gonna screw up a good Army cadence.

Yeah, I never could wrap my head around why an Italian was selling Mexican food in the streets.
