A little filler for ya...since a Google search won't tell you...

Nick Burko was killed in 2006 by a convicted "habitual" 19 year old for no other reason than doing his job.  And that guy will likely be on death row, and he'll likely outlive officer Burko's widow in the name of "justice".

Thanks for the information, I was not aware of that.  I do know that we need more cops speaking out like this one did and it being played by the media, not by folks like us who have to use U-Tube. 

Heck, in CA they might let the guy loose to save money, it is quite possible in that state.
