18 years ago today, aptly enough, I moved into the apartment occupied by my then girlfriend and another vet studant. :-)
Who are you going to prank today?
I gotta go ladle out some steel cut maple oats for the kids here and get 'em moving for school.
Looks like an "Eh" day outside. Cloudy with a chance of snow showers. :(

I was going to start a thread later this morning, pretending to be my youngest son posting on my behalf, letting the board know I died of a heart attack last night. Then I started having chest pains, so I changed my mind.

Once I get to work, I think I will use my cell to call in sick, at the very last minute. :-)
A few years back, a few of us met for breakfast and took turns calling off on April 1st....then we all walked in together about about one minute 'till. :lmao:
I found out yesterday that neighbors of mine had to put their dog down. I liked that dog. She was a very sweet white greyhound named "April"
Things are good and sales continue to grow at work. I'm glad that I live nowhere close to Detroit. :-)

18 years ago today....I told my ex to move out...actually I said "get the hell out!"
As traumatic as it was at the time and then finding out the joke was on me.....I'm a lucky woman today. Amazing how time makes things change over the years.....
Think the deal I've been working on for several weeks is finally going to close either tomorrow or Friday.

Rumor has it the sun may come out today and it actually hit the 65 predicted....64 and sun was predicted yesterday and it only got to 54 and sprinky dinked all day. I'm so glad I'm not a weatherperson.... :-)

I agree with Sparky... not much in the mood for pranks (so please don't even *think* about it :hammer:).
On a lighter note, I'm concerned about what one of my professors might attempt today, as he's a known prankster. :o :lmao: (only person I'll tolerate a prank from today..)
Finally got about 9 hours of sleep last night. I feel MUCH better. Got an appointment with the campus nurse to check on that weird muscle spasm I've been having in my left leg.:( then, I have one class.

Class this morning was interesting. We went to a lecture on ISO 14001 and EMS. The Provost was there and called me out by name "Hi ____," and I was the only student he chatted with. :)
The receptionist had to leave at 12:30pm today, so I had to hurry and get the deposit done and now I'm watching the switchboard until 4pm. My goal while sitting here is to get some Simply Success reading done.

I missed this post. Shame on me.LOL It reminds me of what a co-worker did last year to a customer service team leader. "Miss Thelma" was sitting in the breakroom, waiting to clock in for work, when she got an evil idea. She borrowed another team leader's cell phone, and called the front desk at Customer Service to tell the female team leader that she (Thelma) wasn't coming into work today. I and another worker were back there at the time, biting our tongues, barely able to suppress our laughter. :rotf: Then the targeted team leader comes into the break room, sees Miss Thelma, and if looks could kill... Miss Thelma would be 12 feet under right now. But then she started laughing and promising revenge. God, I was glad to be at work that day. :evillaugh:

I close tonight. My start time is 1:45. The girl that is going in at 1:30 is going to tell the person in charge that I called in sick & no one else is available to cover for me. :rotf:
The first of the month are the brutal busy days for us.....alot of grumpy old bastards have checks to spend. :-)

Well, I just got word my brothers are in the dog house for their AF prank on their mother (my stepmom). Soap and a 2008 Mercedes (or any car whatsoever) are NOT a good idea. I thought those two knew better. I hope they enjoy cleaning that car for awhile. :popcorn: :fuelfire:
Edit: More details, as I'm on the phone with my dad... also, one of their buddies wrote some anti-LSU nonsense on the windshield with the soap. :bird: Oh, how I'd love to be there to film their punishment and post it on YouTube.
