The opposite has been proved, in point of fact.  Caterpillar , who 0Bama had said would be hiring people back if his Porkulous bill was passed, has in fact laid off more people since the bill was passed.

Yes, but if it weren't for Porkulus it would have been more people laid-off so Obama succeeded helping Catepillar "hire" additional people and save jobs.
