Arrested bride files formal complaint
HOUSTON -- A Houston woman who spent a night in jail dressed in her wedding gown after a drunken driving arrest has filed a formal complaint with the Harris County Sheriff's Department, alleging harsh treatment and filthy jail conditions.
Jade McClane and Billy Puckett, both 26, were married on March 14. They were stopped by a county constable while driving away from their reception during a drunken driving crackdown. Police say Puckett was charged with driving while intoxicated and McClane was charged with public intoxication after she became belligerent.
McClane spent the night in jail in her wedding dress, alleging that she was not offered a change of clothes.
McClane pleaded guilty to the public intoxication charge. Her husband, whose family posted bail to have him released, pleaded no contest and received a year's probation, a $300 fine and community service.
Harris County officials said they would review jail videos to see if the woman's complaints were valid.

Considering the look on her new husband's face in the video, she's gonna stay a virgin for quite some time. :-)

Or just get your best man to give you and the new wife a ride home.
As I'll be doing in just over two months now.
