Rain is coming in today...40% chance today, 80% chance tomorrow. I'll try to get some weed and feed down on the lawn before it comes in.
No baseball today, so I'm taking the boys shopping for a birthday present for their sister...her "party" is on Friday. Can't believe she's going to be 16!
My muscles are protesting the workout I did yesterday, but I'm doing it again today anyway!

We got 2.5" of rain here yesterday and the weather douche just laid out SNOW coming on Fri and Sat. :p
I hope someone turns that stupid groundhog into a casserole.

got a free lunch from University Housing today.. :hyper: .they were having a resident appreciation day (though I think it was to try to appease us for housing costs going up... :hammer: ). Little Caesar's pizza and ice-cold Cokes.
I have one class today, then off to work I go. Last night, my boss was being a bastard, telling me he'd only given me 10 hours (while trying to hide the real number from me by covering my name and hours up on the schedule...31). :lmao: He knows I'm biding my time, waiting for the right time to seek revenge. :uhsure: :evillaugh:

I was inspired by the thread you started yesterday so I started looking around on my tv and found some great stuff! (no yoga though, bummer). I'm gonna give it a go tonight. Probably won't be pretty :) haha

I'm stuffed. We went to lunch today, Pappasito's. I love their chipotle shrimp. :drool:
Jen: I heard them talking about the Rangers/D-backs game today on the radio. First thought: I hope there's not a lot of traffic by the Ballpark when I'm driving home. Second though: Awww, Jen. :)
I might even be tempted to watch a bit of it. :)

In other news....I pissed off a customer today. I had been warning them they were behind and need to pay up or go on COD. I put them on COD. I stamped their statement last month and then sent a certified letter demanding they pay in full. Anywho, so she called all pissed today. "You mean you put us on COD for $738? What about that payment I sent you?" Me: "Well that payment did help, but yes you are still over $2000 behind and I cannot open your charge account while you're behind." Now if she had been nice on the phone I may have opened it up, but bitch it ain't my fault you're behind. If we were late paying you, they would cut us off too. That's just business.

I got my Oreck vacuum and my Hoover steam vac back from the repair shop today. Minimal fuss and money to fix both. Small yay. Taking the kids in for allergy shots later this afternoon and then I may go shop for a grill since mine is now Hors de combat.
Gotta comparison shop on line as I want a 3 burner grill and not the house size monstrosities I have seen at the hardware big boxes lately.
Probably go with another Weber.

Nah, I thought it, I'm much more professional on the phone. But I did tell her that yeah, they're on COD until they're paid up in full. It's not like this should have been a surprise, I give plenty of warning that it's coming.
Oh, but I took a funny call when I worked the switchboard Monday. This girl calls in after service is closed, and she says her "red number 13 fuse is out, what does that go to?" And I tell her there's a guide on the side of the fuse box and a guide in the manual that tells you what each are for.
She asks "where in the manual?" and I say "I don't know, look in the index under fuses."
She says "it says booklet 3.1" and I say "okay, so look in booklet 3.1" (dumbass)
Then she's going on and on, don't you know what this fuse if for? And I just say "no, I work in the accounting office I don't know that stuff. And the only reason I know about where the guide is, is because I've blown a fuse before."
She says "what did you do when you blew a fuse?" I said "I took it to service." LOL!
Then she went to turn on her car and everything miraculously worked. :whatever:
Those are the phone calls I always hope are recorded.

I'll do the latter. Considering that Fenway has the highest prices in all of baseball, and you NEVER, EVER get them at face value, I'll pass on the trip down to Boston anytime soon.

I get people calling all the time wanting to order stuff off various websites that filter to my company. Why in blue blazes would you go almost all the way through the webstore ordering process and then CALL? Makes no freaking sense because I'm just going to tell you that I have nothing to do with that and make you go back online and do it all over. If you have a problem, call the little "help me 800 number". Sheesh.....

Oh well, traffic isn't bad except when they play the Yankees anyways, and that means a total of 5-10 min extra to get home. Not even the Dodgers pull in the crowd like the Yankees here. :uhsure: :-)

Work today with some special visitors, one was a VP of Ops. Fun stuff. Alot of people don't care for this guy, but I got along with him well. I had all the right answers to his questions. :-) It was pretty funny, everyone was freaked out that the guy was on his way out to our location...big deal. I do my job very well, no matter who is watching.
