Nice day expected, though not overly warm. High around 50. Have a lot of housekeeping stuff to do today.
Baseball practice tonight, and it's observation week at dance this week, so we can go in and watch the dance classes. I want to watch her Irish class tonight.
And I need to pay bills today...bleah.
-
I am enjoying my coffee and trying to decide what I want to wear to work. I'm going to a Lenten service at church tonight, so I'll be wearing a skirt just in case I don't have time to get home before hand. Nothing new or exciting is expected at work.
-
Time to start clearing out space for the garden. At least it won't be TOO terribly cold today. Waiting until it hits the 30's outside before I start raking and digging...
-
I woke up way too early and I plan on going back to bed. :-)
Good Night
-
Good morning all! Hope everyone is having a nice morning :)

On second thought, maybe yard work isn't such a wonderful idea after all.
Current wind chill: 11 degrees.

Brrrr!! That is way too cold for yard work! :)

Well, this is irritating. I just finished an exam and went to the library. Little dipshit decided to pull the fire alarm. The fire department and campus police were in the building for about 20 minutes. Some might think its cute to do this, but they never realize that they are wasting taxpayer dollars. :hammer: (and messing with those who have work to do).
I'm confident that I got an A on the exam. Grades should be posted online by this evening, so I'll check when I get off work. :cheersmate:

Hmmmmm...time to get a couple of growlers at RedHook down in Portsmouth. Any suggestions?

Raining like an SOB out there.
I just paid someone 100$ to make a service call to tell me that it would cost me 380$ to fix a 450$ gas grill. :censored:
So I may be getting a new outdoor cookery thingy soon.

Sounds like what I'm preparing myself to face. Just gave the repair guy $50 to tell me what I'm already dreading...you need a new TV!

I have been dealing with employee drama for over a week. I think we got it all ironed out but this really makes me hate having employees. I can do without the power struggles and the catty comments. We really need to not hire any more women. :whatever: Makes me want to be antisocial IRL and online. yeesh.
On the bright side we hired an assistant to help with invoicing and with accounts, etc. She is AMAZING! She KNOWS stuff!!! She can DO stuff! The past two weekends I have actually been able to get stuff done around the house! Yay!
We figured out that with our next print job we are actually making an additional 2,000. I had to beat my husband into submission when he made the comment that he wanted to upgrade his motorcycle. :banghead:
My oldest turned 17 yesterday and for some reason I was weepy. Thinking of all the things he could be doing if he had a typical development - football, driving, friends....I know he doesn't miss it but my heart was heavy. I don't normally feel sad for him but for some reason these teen years have been harder. I need to suck it up. He is SO cute! And so fun to be around! I thoroughly enjoy him! I need to get over it.
I've been a downer lately. WTH is my problem. Obama has me in a foul mood. He needs to get the hell off my TV. :lmao:

I think I'm missing a new episode of "House" tonight because of more presidential rigamarole. I'm tired of the speeches. lol :p

If it wasn't on every single channel it might not be so bad. lol Or at least put the speech on a channel where nobody cares about the programming ;)

Exactly....msnbc can carry it and slobber with the comfort of their own studios.
Thanks for the compliment on my kids! They keep me on my toes but then I need to stay busy so I don't get myself into trouble. LOL

Well, it was my day to get caught up on work. Spent the last hour or more trying to make a Progress Graph. Not used to making those.

I swear you look at the Rock River wrong and it jumps it's banks out of pettiness.
This Spring and Summer is going to blow monkies if it is anything like last year.

So far so good today. The boss forgot a co-worker's birthday is today so I once again proved how indispensable I am and picked up a card and balloons on my way in. Tomorrow means free lunch! We're going out for her birthday! :-)
I have to get my timecard and add it up, I think I can leave like at 6 today. w00t! I have to do a bit of accounting homework tonight.

Home Depot only charges $87.50 for delivery of a grill. It's about 3/4's of a mile from here! :-) Free assembly & having a friend with a truck pick it up.

I know that river well, and it always at least tripples in width each spring. It gets worse the farther south it goes.
At least you are there if folks need you. I know your efforts are greatly appreciated.
