Even as President Obama compares bankers to suicide bombers, his Homeland Security Secretary is suggesting the T-word, terrorism, is too inflammatory and representative of old-fashioned "politics of fear." She's announced a new term: "man-caused disaster." From an interview with the German magazine Der Spiegel:
SPIEGEL: Madame Secretary, in your first testimony to the US Congress as Homeland Security Secretary you never mentioned the word "terrorism." Does Islamist terrorism suddenly no longer pose a threat to your country?
NAPOLITANO: Of course it does. I presume there is always a threat from terrorism. In my speech, although I did not use the word "terrorism," I referred to "man-caused" disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.

It's more dumbing down PC bullsh*t.
Remember when the Clinton Administration came out with the big pronouncement about how they weren't going to refer to countries that sponsor terrorism anymore as "Rogue Nations" anymore? They were "Nations of Concern"?
This is a continuation of that policy. And it's setting us ALL up for failure.
-
What about "woman caused disaster"? :fuelfire:
*runs*

I go with "Islamic attack". "Disaster" makes it sound like an accident, but of course that's the point. You have no idea how many people I dressed down after they've referred to 9/11 as a "tragedy". I leave no parsed word unturned.
-
So, all those people who elected this disaster into office are terrorists now?
-
Got an intel briefing the other day. All I can really say is those folks are not happy at all right now with all the ****ing name changes lately...
-
T-word, the new N-word
We dont' want to offend the sweet little homicide bombers now do we? :whatever:

What a load of bull. Soon she will be calling the terrorist attack on the twin towers "planes making a wrong turn"

"it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur"
Translation: "There is no difference between filthy, stinky Islamists slamming planes into buildings and hurricanes. Each is man-caused, since we know from Algore that all weather phenomena are due to manmade global warming."
God, that pisses me off. That is EXACTLY what the rugsucker is saying.

Every single day, these IDIOTS in the current administration, give me one more reason to need blood pressure medicine. These clowns don't have a clue. God help us for the next few years.
-
Talked to my dad last week. Never heard a guy so happy to be rid of Janet Napolitano. His gain is America's loss.
-
So what do we call a person who engages in acts of "man-made disasters" then? Disasterists? Doesn't quite roll off the tongue.
And to think people harped on Bush for his occasional creative use of vocabulary. :whatever:

Why create a new name for something that you're not allowed to talk about or show on tv anymore?
-

Funny, "man-caused disaster" is exactly what I refer to as "the Obama Administration"....

It wouldn't surprise me a bit. The idiots are in charge now. And remember, all the Clinton people who left us wide open for 2001,, they are back too.

God I hate that Photo...I still have nightmares about it sometimes...and i am from Indiana...

Any time there is a story about the Libtards trying to dumb down the situation we're in or to soften the label with which we brand the people plotting to kill us I post a pic from that day.
I want everyone to clearly remember what we're up against versus what the Liberals want us to believe.

Exactly ****ing right!!!!!!! Is anyone else understanding that the same people who are responsible for 9/11are back in the seats of power? Good Lord! Get a clue people!
We're frikkin' just askin' for it! SOB, when will we learn?

A terrorist attack is a terrorist attack. It's that clear enough?
-
That's how I feel about this PC bullshit.
Same here. It should be exterminated. I prefer the use of death squads like they did in Latin America and Asia.
-
I think the main point of liberals doing this is to redefine driving a Hummer as terrorism and to redefine terrorism as nothing worse than driving a Hummer.

RAPE = man caused sexual encounter.....wonder if that'd make her happy?
