Title: Any liberal websites shutting down for Earth Hour?

Google made their main page all black for that day, I think (whoop-dee-shit!).  They and others should actually shut down their servers if they truly believed in Earth Hour.

When is this earth hour crap?  I see the commercials for it, but mostly ignore it.

March 28th, 8:30 pm your local time (so it advances across the globe as the day goes by).

I'm going to be at work, but I plan to do my anti-Earth Hour earlier in the day and turn on everything in my house that I can for an hour.  Going to turn on all the lights inside and out, wash and dry clothes, vacuum, put the exhaust fan on in the bathroom, bake something in the oven, etc.   :-)

Just turn on the oven, don't actually bake anything.   :fuelfire:  ...same for the vacuum, just leave it running.   :rotf:

If I actually do stuff with them, then I don't have to have my wife roll her eyes at me when I try to explain it to her.

I thought the rolled eyes came after the explanation....at least it does around here.   :uhsure:

I'll need to remember to turn on all the lights, tv, radio, blowdryer, vacuum, and A/C with the windows opened before I leave for work.  :evillaugh: :innocent:

Along with all the lights on, vacuum running, stove on, etc., I think I will string christmas lights in my front window that say IMPEACH OBAMA.  My liberal neighbors ought to love it.   :-)
