Okay ....... let's talk about contractual obligations ........
Let's talk about the government's contract with its soldiers to take care of them when they give of themselves in service to the country
Let's talk about those union contracts, go0ing all the way back to PATCO and that mother****er, Reagan.
Let's talk about the UAW retirees who are now told to start stocking up on Alpo.
Let's talk about the people who see constantly rising credit card rates - or outright cancellation.
Let's talk about the victims of the outright criminals who operated with impunity during the housing bubble, selling shit mortgages.
Let's talk about the victims of Bernie Madoff and that Stanford guy from Texas.
But, by Gawd, we have NO CHOICE but to pay AIG's employees their contractually mandated bonuses with OUR ****ING MONEY!
Dear Obama Administration .....
TAKE
THE
****ING
MONEY
BACK

1. Don't forget involuntary servitude aka "stop loss" that allows DOD to keep troops on active duty
after they have completed their contractual obligations.

8. Rants, they are so easy
but the facts show that none of the items listed are breach of contract. They are all ****ed up and shady, but not breach of contract.
I share your spirit though.
Your disguise isn't working, you lousy freeper troll.

16. What about treaties? Aren't they some kind of contract? ...
Bush abrogated them with impunity. No problemo, apparently! Obama says we need to move forward.
I heard Obama's statement about how angry he is. Words are cheap. do something!
Won't somebody DO something !1!11
I guess speaking truth2power is easier than getting off your ass and doing something yourself.

Make no mistake, she would gladly hand over her kids to complete their indoctination. She would proudly tell other parents about her kids tracking who is going to what house in the neighborhood. Sorting through mail to find any subversive material, and searching houses to find contraband like guns, ammunition, or bibles, or perhaps non-rationed food items.
What happens when you combine the worst elements of communism and fascism?

Wait, wait, wait....wasn't there a thread on the DUmp earlier this year that said it wasn't our money??
I think I remember something to that effect...DUmmys complaining that us "Rethugs" were saying the same thing when it came to The Anointed Ones bloated budget.

Rush has been talking about this all morning. Evidently, the government has managed to gin up so much outrage at AIG that employees are getting death threats. All because the big zero's poll numbers are falling. Got to admire the tactic though. Kind of like the democrat version of Wahabism. Nice.
Evidently the powers that be knew about these bonuses for a year. They knew about them while they were writing the bailout for AIG. Geitner helped with the decisions about how and what would be expected of these companies and how it was enforced. Chris Dodd actually included language in the bill that would exempt these bonuses. But we're all supposed to be pissed at AIG. They're filling contractual obligations with the blessing of the government and dems are now claiming outrage. The people are falling for it hook, line, and sinker. Gawd, we're suckers.

Anyone want to hazard a guess as to whether or not the MSM will mention the fact that the current AIG CEO was hired by the Administration?

I see the sparkling husband primitive has been smoking the kitty litter again.
As with economics, libs don't need to go anywhere near trying to intrepret the law.

WaPo sez:
WASHINGTON - President Obama's apparent inability to block executive bonuses at insurance giant AIG has dealt a sharp blow to his young administration and is threatening to derail both public and congressional support for his ambitious political agenda.
There's more at the MSNBC site, along with a poll and outraged commentary. This is me:

Gawd, we're suckers.
Well CIn, in all fairness, not all of us are suckers. There are a few of us that keep up with what the hell goes on. Problem is, we're a minority. Most of the American populace has become complacent due to how easy we have made it over the years to just ignore what goes on around you.
Hell most people don't even know their next door neighbors. It wasn't that long ago you damn near knew everyone on the whole block, all of your kid's teachers, the owner of every establishment you visited, etc. This is not even remotely true any more.
Sad, ain't it.
