President Obama is heading back to the late-night circuit, with an appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" set for this week.
The president is flying out Wednesday to Los Angeles where he is expected to join up with Leno, though it's unclear whether his appearance will be live or pre-taped.

Because he has nothing better to do ...

Okay, who's got the teleprompters?
Leno doesn't need 'em, so Barry will have to bring his own.

Do I hear a fiddle playing???

Tricky Dick made an appearance on Rowan and Martin's "Laugh-In" in the late Sixties, if memory serves.

However, this was BEFORE he became president.

Bingo.
Ditto for Bubba the Rapist coming on Arsenio Hall.

He sees this as another opportunity for a snow job.

Leno was fair at first, but he's not been very good over the past several years. He'll never be as good as Johnny Carson.
Letterman used to be OK until he decided to show his political preferences, which then just made him look stupid.
But I agree, Hussein just wants to prop up himself as a populist "regular guy." As long as idiots exist, libs will be able to use and abuse them for their own purposes. And with a minimum of 67 million idiots out there, he'll continue to sucker in a lot of them.

I didn't watch it, but I saw she was on. It was pathetic.
-
I won't watch it but I would like to see Leno ask him some political questions. However, that would be taboo so it's going to be a mutual admiration back slapping contest.
-
Ladies and gentlemen, this appearance is as calculated as calculated can be.
I see this as nothing more than Obama damage control and propaganda 101.
And yes, the Chin will knobslob Obama bigtime.

I don't know about late night but...
In 1992, President George H.W. Bush was interviewed by entertainer Rush Limbaugh on his radio show. And, in 2006, President George W. Bush appeared on American Idol via video link.

More likely they will be the recipients of loads of manure. I wonder where they will hide Telly Prompter if he does his appearance live.

Isn't the show taped during the afternoon, then edited and shown later?

He was on ESPN last night showing off his "Presidential bracket". :bird:

Interview with Silverman about Totus on Leno. If you don't want to get sick don't listen. The following was posted at the link along with a picture of his highness getting out of the beast.
"To get him into the stage, they literally wanted to have the ability to drive his limo into the set and onto the stage," said Silverman. "The weight [of the President's Limo] is so intense that it would've collapsed the stage, so now we have to build this whole structure next to the stage to he can drive right up to it."
