World champion boxer warns that Barack will be assassinated within months if he wins presidency
World champion boxer Bernard Hopkins, who will fight the undefeated Briton Joe Calzaghe in April, believes black Democratic contender Barak Obama would be assassinated "within months" if he became US president in November.
Hopkins, the world light-heavyweight boxing champion, told The Independent on Sunday: "I don't think America is ready for an African-American in the White House. If he gets the nomination they won't let him become president, but if they do, it will be for a short time, maybe less than a month or two. His life would be in jeopardy.
"People may say it is time for change but when it comes down to it, I don't think America is ready for that type of heat."
Hopkins, 43, arguably the most politically controversial figure in US sport since Muhammad Ali, has been accused of being racially motivated for saying he would "never lose to a white boy". He refused to retract the comment when he came face to face this week with Calzaghe, the undefeated world super-middleweight champion, in London

Part of political correctness is "racial intimidation". Some minorities will try to intimidate whites by accusing them of some sort of racially biased thinking or actions, the biggie being "A Black man can't be President in AmerKKKA. He'll be shot right away!"
The Liberal white dufus's, who still thinks it's 1865, response is supposed to be along the lines of "Oh no, I'm not racist. See, I'm voting for Barack Obama! See, I'm not a racist". Racial manipulation by intimidation.
The question "Is America ready for a Black President?" is also a form of intimidation.

that nobel peace prize winner just said the same thing about Obama recently... she said it would be better if Obama ran as VP, to Hilary's pres... cause nobody will assasinate Hilary cause they wont want Obama taking over. but she was quite sure Obama would be killed rather than risk him as president.
her thought processes were bizarre and she's about 200 years old so people think she's 'cranky and lovable' i guess... sounds like a wackjob to me.
i dont want any of them killed.. i just want them to go away.

As Uhhuh identified, there's a racist undertone to it. Doris Lessing judges others by skin colour and imagines that everyone else does too. She can't conceive of the fact that Hillary might be more loathsome to a potential (white) assassin than Obama, and negates the possibility that an assassin could be black (Muhammed and Malvo anyone?).

its just a bizarre thing to even write about. why give people ideas? it would never even occur to me that any of them would be assassinated .. even less so because of their gender or skin color.

If someone were actually plotting to assassinate Barack, I'd bet on it being a moonbat who thinks he isan't pulling out of Iraq fast enough, or some other foolish crap. The vast majority of assassins in recent times have come from the LEFT.
