My sister enters this contest every day. Of course she says she would sell it if she won it. I think I might entertain the idea of turning it into a B&B. Anyway, it's fun to dream!
What would you do with it?

I think it's beautiful, but I wonder if the winner will be able to get insurance for it!!??
I'd probably sell it.
-
I enter every day too. (http://209.85.12.232/7417/2/emo/pray.gif)
Probably couldn`t afford to keep it,income and maybe property taxes but still would make for a nice payoff.
-
I'd sell it, too.
-
First, I'd pilfer the house for anything I wanted to keep. Then I'd sell it.

Thanks for the heads up. I will just enter just once. If I win (ha, ha, ha) there will be a nice reward coming your way.

I recall reading online that most of the past winners did end up selling the home. Makes sense because they always pick out the location and it's never where the winner actually lives. Of course that's part of the allure. It's a "dream home" in a dream location. They should change it and let the winner pick out an acceptable lot and then build it wherever they desire. Yeah, that changes the contest but hey....I'd rather have a dream home someplace I can actually live instead of in a part of the country I don't have any ties to.

Actually I think in its history only one goof ball kept the house and it was in Tyler, Texas.....just up the road from me. He is in really bad financial shape right now.
