I got this email from the college I attend. I didn't know there were so many deaf homos at my small school. :rotf:

Our department, Disability Office and the Gay-Straight Alliance organization are very excited to invite you to attend a presentation by Ray Luczak on “The Deaf GLBT Community: Then and Now.â€

There are like 27 people that go to your college. Out of those I bet there is at least .005 people with a hearing disability who also happens to be gay. They should have a Deaf GLBT Month there to bring that one guy into the public spotlight. :-)

Being a member of the "deaf community" myself, I had no idea we had some who were confused.
Actually, seriously, no; I've never been aware of this phenomenon.

As mentioned before, I use to work with blind folks. I found out there are blind homosexuals. 'Can't imagine how their "gheydar" works.

When I was a teenager, my girlfriend and I double dated with another couple - my friend and his girlfriend - who were both deaf. When it came time for parking and petting, all my girlfriend and I could do was slink down in the front seat and shamefully laugh. You wouldn't believe the disgusting noises two horny people make when they can't hear themselves.
Yes, it was immature, but we were just teenagers. Maybe the college could bring up this subject.

It was a generic email that everyone with a university email account receives. It's not cuz I'm special. :bawl:
