I'm doing a load of laundry at the moment. Might cook a couple burgers here in a bit for dinner, but its a little late. The 24-hour Krystals is no longer open 24 hours, so I'll have to settle for a Big Mac if I decide I don't want to cook anything.

I shouldn't be up this late but I've been restless the past couple nights... and its a good thing I don't go to work until 3:30 pm (in other words, I'm a closer :(). I do have Saturday off, which I fully intend to take advantage of and go see Watchmen. :hyper:
Need to go brush my teeth, and take ALL of my bedtime medicines. :yawn:

Woot! Finally feels like spring here! Taking the red beemer in for an alignment this morning...will enjoy the walk back over there later this morning in the nice spring-like weather.
This chest cold is kicking my *&^ at night tho...keeps me up half the night coughing.

Husband is off on business trip today. I get to pull double duty. Fun! LOL
Actually I don't envy him. He flies to Minneapolis and back in one day for a press check. Ew. Then he gets to come home to a house full of women because I am hosting a movie night with some friends. I swear I didn't do it on purpose. When I planned the night he was planning on going to St. Jo to see a friend fight in a MMA match. Oh well. LOL I'll be running around like crazy all day. Or maybe I'll just hide out and mess around online. Not sure which I have decided to do yet. :-)

Up working on a report and waiting for M to get home from Mass.....he's going with me to look at a car. I lease my car and the car dealership called the other day and told me they will pay off the balance of my lease (7 mos) if I would get new car this month. Going to go look today....there has to be a "catch" somewhere ....sounds to good to be true.
Then have some errands to run. It's supposed to be 65 by noon. We had 5 degree WC 3 days ago. :mental:

It IS going to be pretty Shpadoinkle today! Sunny and highs in the mid 50's. Quite a bit of rain coming in the next week so we can look forward to all the snow going bye bye and a lot of muddy paw wiping. :p
The stupid puppy was out in the yard last night proinking up in the air like an antelope and stomping in every puddle of water she could find. our old Maggie dog sort of cordially hated the outdoors and avoided getting messy like the plague. Gonna be an adjustment because Pepper seems almost psychotically attracted to water in all it's forms.
I ordered the second season of "Jericho" last night and the first season of "Breaking Bad". I still have to watch "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog" in it's entirety on the big screen. Joss Whedon is a genius.

Double-paid the mortgage, and had to pay a $25 stop payment fee to my regular bank because the mortgage company had already processed it. But at least I caught it in time before the OTHER five checks I wrote come in and nail me for $25 NSF fees each.
But at least I'm getting the weekend off.
Poker tonight, and I will kill many beers, just to watch them die.

The last bath I gave her was a revelation. She actually cried when I took her out of the tub and tried to dry her off. :-)

Yea Friday! I'm taking off at 1:30-2ish today. The local charity is coming by this afternoon to pick up the old fridge. Also mom's boyfriend (he's a master electrician) is coming by this afternoon as well to check out a couple of things at my house. I'm paying him with a freshly baked carrot cake. I baked the cakes and made the frosting last night. I'll put it all together after I get home today.

Thank God mud season doesn't hit here for another six weeks. Although we might hit 50 this weekend and a lot of the snow we have will melt.
