And it's so funny, just this morning a co-worker was talking about stuffed jalapenos with cream cheese and bacon. Anywho, I said "everything's better with bacon. Wait, you know who doesn't like bacon? Commies." She and my boss busted out laughing.

And it's so funny, just this morning a co-worker was talking about stuffed jalapenos with cream cheese and bacon. Anywho, I said "everything's better with bacon. Wait, you know who doesn't like bacon? Commies." She and my boss busted out laughing.

Yeah--uniting your arteries into a single solid mass.
But I digress. You mentioned your stuffed jalapenos, but I'll go you one better--a little something I like to make during the summer on the BBQ (or winter on the BBQ, but you get the idea)...
1 lb large (25-30/lb) shrimp, deveined and butterflied
2 jalapenos, slivered
12-16 oz package bacon
8 oz package cream cheese
Wash and devein shrimp. In center, place sliver of jalapeno and cream cheese (not so much you can't close shrimp). Roll bacon around shrimp, pin with toothpick. Place on foil on BBQ and grill until bacon done.
Dip in favorite sauce (but I like them plain).
