In the March 9, 2009 issue of Newsweek (on newsstands Monday, March 2), "Radical Islam is A Fact of Life. How To Live With it" Fareed Zakaria makes the case for why the West needs to adopt a more sophisticated strategy toward Radical Islam. Plus: Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu and Avigdor Lieberman discuss the country's future in their first foreign media interview since winning in the recent election. Lastly: A review of the latest comic book inspired movie, "Watchmen." Link (http://www.970wfla.com/cc-common/news/sections/newsarticle.html?feed=124415&article=5086470)

Possibly they wanted 0Bama to read it in his native language? :fuelfire:

I'd rather discover the joys of living without it.

Ah, yes...Fareed Zakaria. The guy that's been doing propaganda spots for Al-Qaeda, et al, on CNN for the past half a year.

Everything I needed to know about Islam, I learned on 9/11.

Their liberal subscribers will love the warm fuzzy feel of O'Change, but it may be the kiss of death for NewsWeak.  After 22 years, I'm not renewing my subscription after their horrible coverage of the primaries, though the lovefest continues.

Time's next on my list  :banghead:

Is there a news weekly that really does report the news without slobbering over Obama?  I'm looking for a new news junkie fix  :argh:

So, does anybody else here think that it's darn cute that SpewsWeak is finally out of the closet as full blown Anti-American?

They're feeling brave since they are on the side of the president.

I agree, thundley, I think they like to call it "empowered". Notice that he says "toward" . . .

As well they should.  They shamelessly helped him get elected.  Why not help him with his social(ist) agenda?

seabelle, you still get Time and Newsweek?  You should have kicked them to the curb years ago.  I recommend the Washington Times Weekly.  Great commentary, really good reading, and excellent letters to the editor.

DefiantSix, you posted what I wanted to, so much more concisely.  H5

That stupid cover will do more to recruit terrorists and future martyrs for attacks on this country than any alleged "recruiting" the Libs claim we've done the 8 years we've spent fighting the WoT.

These are the same type of people who thought MAD was the best we could get in the Cold War. :thatsright:
