Title: Bank of the United States
Post by: NateRiver on February 28, 2009, 02:37:57 PM
Is a Central Bank, governed by “The People” the answer to our country’s financial woes?

Quote
“If we scrap the current monetary model, the Federal Reserve System, and re-establish the Bank of the United States we can not only get out of debt but we can also generate enormous revenue while not levying any federal taxes.”

I wouldn't trust the Congress to leave their hands off of it.

Why limit our ire to just the shitheads in Congress?

I don't trust President Zero any further than I could throw him.  I don't trust his cabinet full of frauds, tax cheats, and assorted crooks.  I don't trust the hodge podge of alphabet agencies that take my tax money, and use it to hamstring honest, hard working Americans, and reward the laziest minority of us all.  I don't trust Congress.

About the only entity of the Federal Government that has demonstrated any degree of trustworthiness at all is our armed forces.  But I still keep my eye on them.
