Is a Central Bank, governed by “The People†the answer to our country’s financial woes?

Why limit our ire to just the shitheads in Congress?
I don't trust President Zero any further than I could throw him. I don't trust his cabinet full of frauds, tax cheats, and assorted crooks. I don't trust the hodge podge of alphabet agencies that take my tax money, and use it to hamstring honest, hard working Americans, and reward the laziest minority of us all. I don't trust Congress.
About the only entity of the Federal Government that has demonstrated any degree of trustworthiness at all is our armed forces. But I still keep my eye on them.
