One suspects 0bama's been calling his predecessor a great deal since January 20, asking his guidance and counsel (and then ignoring it):

Obama calls Bush before speech to tell him about his Iraq plan . . . ugh 

(CNN) – President Barack Obama called former President Bush on this morning to tell him about his plan to withdraw troops from Iraq, the White House said Friday.

Obama called the former president “as a courtesy” right before his speech at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, according to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

4. It's because the President is classy and has good manners... and it's good politics.

Granted, it's a courtesy and it's good politics, but one suspects those calls have been more than that.

And yet the buffoon has rarely showed that class and good manners in public. Instead we constantly see his arrogance and pride on full display.
