Oh, boy, happy days are here again! THIRTEEN whole extra bucks every week!
If, that is, you don't work for yourself or own a business.
But what the hell, if you're one of the people who receives that wonderful 13 dollars a week, please use that bountiful benefit to kickstart the economy, OK?
Anybody ever figure out the nature of Chief S itting Bull's business?
It strikes me as a "consulting" sort of deal, but I could be wrong.

31. No, it's not that I don't NEED it; it's that I don't GET it. All of these "stimulese" manange to conveninetly leave out any help for those who work for themselves.

33. No, I don't GET that $13 less, which you would have known if you read my OP.
A primitive mentions some sort of Christian charity that gives out food.

84. We did actually buy some food from them. They're a wonderful organization, but
the quality of the food was dreadful. I give them every bit of credit for the work they do, and admire them greatly - don't get me wrong here - but we, ourselves, would rather eat rice and beans than "mechanically separated chicken."
If you don't mind eating that kind of food, though, they're a geat source and, as I said, a wonderful organization.
It's mostly primitives, including the dysmenopausal Kansas school teacher, trying to rationalize that $13 a week is, really, a lot of money.

Is that $13 a week before Taxes? .....or $13 business dollars.
-
$13.00 per week is to cover the bill at the rent-to-own Rent-A-Pony. Lousy ingrates. The pony is free because their government is making the sacrifice.
-
gee. sounds like Redstone could use a tax cut.

I think it's driving around and removing "Work From Home" flyers from lightposts and power poles and such.
It doesn't pay much, but he is his own boss and has plenty of time off to hang out at the DUmp.

Then he definitely needs a taxcut

25. Wouldn't they be better off with some relief, like health coverage and housing aid?
Or get them a job?
Ditch the tax cut bullshit and we could keep people housed and cared for far better.
Who needs a job then? Take care of me, daddy! I want a free house, free food, free doctors, free everything! I wonder if these people ever end up growing up. If they are male, do they ever, ever feel like a man?

I went over there and read their posts, you know what pisses me off? they talk as if the Government gave them that money instead of just being able to keep a little more of their money. :bird:

This is one of the fundamental differences in liberal Vs conservative thought. They don't see it as a "refund" they see it as a "freebie" as if they're completely ignorant of where the government actually gets money from in the first place.

"bump" in memory of Redstone.
