The telemarketing calls will not stop!
We got a new phone number a few months ago and I guess a few other people had it before us. I thought I had pretty much taken care of it when those bill collectors would call. But we're still getting telemarketing calls for credit cards and auto loans. I signed the Do Not Call registry.
We're getting the calls on average one to three times a day. Do we need to change our number again?
Might that be why the cyanide primitive's popular?
The primitive with all that prime lakefront real-estate he managed to acquire during the "terrible Bush economy;" one wonders how long he'll hold onto it with the "great 0bama economy" now:

4. My favorites are the "lower your credit card interest" and the car warranties
I get a call from both of these once a week. I've gotten into discussions with real humans at both these places and they just hang up on you if you tell them to knock this shit off. We've been in the do not call registry for years. I even get the calls on my cell phone. The next time I'm gonna lie to them, give them a phony name and card number and let them struggle with it.

5. i'm sorry you are going through this. start keeping track? maybe you could prank them.
it's frustrating, i know. we dropped the landline several years ago and went cell only, which helps. good luck. i hope you can get rid of these calls.

1. So he owes money that he's working hard to not pay.
2. Was the do not call registry for this number or did the deadbeat DUchebag think that it would carry over to his new number? (Like I don't know that answer)
3. If the DUmbass was smart enough to put the new bill dodging number in the registry, it takes 10-12 weeks to come into effect.

Do people still have landlines?

Do people still have landlines?
Yup. We do. But, it's digital phone, along with digital cable and broadband Net access.

I don't think bill collectors are subject to the no-call list. At least, I wouldn't think they'd be.
