Title: HEY THUNDLEY PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL RIGHT AWAY

Hi,

I tried to send you and email through the forum and it kept saying I was not typing the correct letters when I tried to send it.  Ummmmm they were big capital letters and I had it right but it would not send.

If in doubt about the screen-name, sir, click on the list of members on the toolbox at the top of the screen of conservative cave, to get the correct one.

I have this problem with "BadCat" and "Bad Cat" all the time.

I've done so. You can also send private messages through the board here.

also, the "To" field in the private message screen will prefill the username as you type*.  and it isn't case sensitive.

Hi,

I tried to email him through the board.  I typed out the email and on the bottom of the page were some letters or numbers.  Below it was a box where it said to type the numbers, which I did, several times I tried and it kept saying that they were wrong.  Now I realize I am old but I can read big capital letters and that is what I typed.

Point is I tried it the right way and somehow it did not work.

Didn't know what else to do under the circumstances.

I am going to move this to suggestions and feedback and reopen it;  we have a board use question that I want to make sure we have resolved.

5412, you are getting snarled up in the user verification screen.  are you sure are using the proper case?  have you managed to get past it since last night?

actually, your post count is well above the verification threshold.  you shouldn't have seen that message at all.

just to be sure, you went to "my messages" (at the top of any screen)  --> "new message" (in the left hand panel), and then filled in the form?
