So is this the Republican thing now, to not even refer to the President as "President Obama"?
Advertisements [?]I would never have thought it would have come to this, but now we have Shelby openly stirring the birther pot, and here's everyone's favorite RW pundit Pat Buchanan with a page long diatribe in which he refers to the President as "Barack", not even Mr. Obama:

1. They did *exactly* the same thing to President Clinton.
It used to make me furious.

2. I'm surprised he didn't say "that Boy"
We all know what the underlying issue is with their disrespect toward President Obama

4. The GOP stomps its feet in so many varied ways.... this is but
one more and it really does hint at the mental ages of some of these folk. And "this" is what runs our country. Is it any wonder that we are where we are?

Words fail me.

From the website that had an unspoken (?) rule to never even print Bushs name but to use * instead.

It's part of being a Liberal.  It's what allows them to take one side of an argument one day and the polar opposite side the next day.

For examples see:

The Cape Cod Orca and HMO's.

Current Congressional Democrats and Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae

The Office is the Office of the Presidency.

The holder is the new fuhrer.  Because he is and it is clear he is using Hitler as his model.

I find it quite amusing that they are upset because he is called Barack.  Of course, NO ONE ever called Pres. Bush by his first name.   ::) ::) ::)

I'll call the guy "President" when he produces a real birth certificate proving he is constitutionally eligible to hold the office.  It's not too much to ask, but he sure has poured a lot of resources and energy into not answering.

Until then, he's just a half-white half-black jug-eared commie shyster with no factual history and no reason to be in our office of the President of the United States.

I respect the Office too much to blindly offer respect to this fraud.

Why? I called President Bush "Bush". It wasn't out of disrespect, but let's not forget, these guys work for us. I'll say "President" every now and then, but it's usually just last name, or in this case, Professor Dickweed.

It's bad for you to hold your feelings in too much, Undies.  You should tell us how you really feel!  :o :o

I think it's juvenile name calling.  Someone could have a decent point but once they use a silly name at least to me, it becomes moot.

I referred to Bush as Bush and Obama as Obama.  Just my 2 cents.

Well, sorry Mia. Just count me in the "Obama Haters" group. I'm not one that "wants the president to succeed because it's what's best for the country". Why? Because I don't think his socialistic policies ARE best for the country. I'm a fiscal conservative. I believe hard work should be rewarded and laziness should feel the brunt of apathy and should die off. Aren't you liberals buyers into the Darwin theories? If so, why do you refuse to apply it to this scenario? IMO someone like that cat bitch should just die off. After all, the thing is living off the backs of others and should die off because it's the weakest among us.

We don't progress by rewarding failure or the failures in our country.

Wait, what in my post warranted such a response?  I just think the name calling is juvenile.

I don't think you're an Obama hater and I can see why you don't want him to succeed.  That's your right.

Back on topic, MrsSmith is correct.  The hypocracy lies completely with those at the DUmp who would angerly claim "They call him by a name other than President Obama" when they spent 8 years not following their own rule.  You know, if you're gonna live in a glass house.............

What the DUmmies (again) fail to recognize is that when they referred to Bush as "Chimpy", etc. we laughed at them.  We didn't get mad.  Now with conservatives coming up with goofy, comedic names for Oooooobama, they get mad and stomp their little feet.  They just got no sense of humor, bless their little hearts.

Their worldview does not afford them a sense of humor.  True humor is based on a certain degree of truth, always.  That fact leaves the Little Goons out.  They must continually defend their remarkably dishonest views in a most serious manner.

It is important to remember that liberalism depends on getting as many people as possible to believe lies are truths, human nature does not exist, and the impossible is possible.  They can't do that and laugh too.
