Each and every Burger King employee in America gets $18,000?

:sarcasm:

no......

Burger King Exposed Video

Dear Friends, Colleagues and Supporters,

What would you do with an extra $18,000 in your pocket?

That's the amount of extra cash each and every Burger King employee in America would have received last year if Goldman Sachs (one of the fast-food chain's largest owners) had shared its bailout billions with rank-and-file workers. Instead, Goldman Sachs squandered 6.5 billion of our taxpayer dollars on bonuses for their financial staff. These were some of the highest bonuses on Wall Street! Meanwhile, Burger King workers earn wages averaging just $14,000 a year -- well below the federal poverty line for a family of three.
Watch the harmful effects of Wall Street's greed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wABI2dwbQMQ

Goldman Sachs has been having it their way with Burger King workers for too long. It's high time you had it your way with Goldman Sachs. Tell the Wall Street giant how they could have used the $6.5 billion blown on bonuses. We're looking for the most creative, constructive, or comical ideas to curb corporate greed and help fix the financial crisis. We will send all ideas to Goldman Sachs as a reprimand for their wastefulness. The winner of the Have It Your Way with Goldman Sachs contest will have their idea featured in our next video. The contest ends March 3.

Pass this video and contest to your friends and family, and don't forget to digg it. Tell them working people all over the country are pushing back against Wall Street excess. Tell them we're joining with SEIU and others to stage demonstrations and hold Goldman Sachs accountable! And tell them it's time to end this era of corporate greed and impunity.

Yours,
Robert Greenwald
and the Brave New Films team

P.S. - Do you think Goldman Sachs should be forced to give back their bailout money to taxpayers, should they have to raise Burger King workers' wages, explain their spending to the government, or be left alone because they are living the American dream? If you're trying to support three people on a burger flippers wage, you really should reevaluate your life choices.

3. There should be a MAXIMUM wage and GS employees should

be limited to 10 times the lowest paid employee in any of their affiliated companies including BK. No extra benefits, no stock options, just an hourly wage limited to 40 hours at 10 times the lowest wage. What would BK employees make under those laws?

They wouldn't. Idiot.

4. The sad thing is that $18,000 isn't really all that much but what a help

and a world a difference it could have made in the hands of the Burger King employees. As is, it probably bought a bathroom rug or some bauble. How many other stories do you think are out there like this one...just different companies?

Good chance it'd buy a bunch of foreign made electronic gadgets, and a bunch of other rapidly depreciating assets, and the recipient would be right back where they were no more than 3 months down the track.

A life spent obsessing over what others have will accomplish and amount to nothing.

Choke on the bitter emptiness you have chosen for yourselves DUmbasses.

Someone who spends 80-90 hours a week as a franchise owner who likely invested their entire life's savings in a place where losers like you determine their success or failure, and you want to limit their earnings to ten times what you make by scrubbing shitters and asking if they want fries, then bitching because the shift manager won't pay you for clocking out a half-hour early so you can stuff a bong in time for the latest show on Fuse?

Yeah, I'm not seeing it either.

Those at the DUmp have no ability to understand one simple principle.

Money NEVER solves money problems.

That is all.

Under the DUmmy plan, go the hourly BK employees have to give back their welfare winnings when they get their $18K bonus?

I thought not.
