Title: A New Low for McCain
Post by: Rebel on February 06, 2008, 03:44:23 PM
Sorry motherf'er is going to use a computer-generated voice of Reagan to introduce him to the CPAC convention.

Quote
According to my source, McCain has prepared a video featuring President Ronald Reagan to make the introduction. If McCain uses this video, it is very likely to backfire badly.  This is the group before which Ronald Reagan said in 1975 that, “A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency or simply to swell its numbers.”

I read about that a couple of days ago... I think its absolutely the height of bad taste, but supposedly Nancy Reagan is a fan of McCain's and not endorsing him officially, but it surprises me that she is allowing this..

McCain hasn't clenched this nomination just yet - we could still broker a different guy at the convention (unlikely, but it has happened in the past) and using Reagan in any way is just wrong. For any of them.

I'm sick of the Reagan comparisons. We got one Reagan and we aren't likely to get another one, especially with the career politicians we have right now.

Utterly tasteles. Just when you think McLame hit bottom, he kicks out the bottom and keeps digging. I hope this backfires against him.

I doubt his handlers would allow that, somebody has to think it's a bad idea.

I've noticed he looks like a rabbit with an ear job....

McCain using a great conservative like Ronald Reagan is an abomination.

McCain really makes me ill.

I just heard Rush mention that the CPAC members have been instructed "not to BOO" McCain when he makes his speech....

Great candidate we have there....I'm pissed!
