OMG!!!! Just saw that cartoon. SO racist and hateful.
What sponsors can I boycott? Money is the only way to hurt these people. HYPOCRITES and horrible hatefulness.

4. I have been hearing about it all day but just saw it. What in the
world makes this okay? I am a person who grew up in East Texas a long time ago when it perfectly okay to do and say these types of things. I never thought that 40 years later it would still be okay!!!!

6. Even the monkey and typewriter thing wouldn't explain it.
This is out and out offensive.
I saw plenty of cartoons that were "outright offensive" in the last 8 years, usually with legions of leftards cheering them on.

5. Nevermind violent.
I'll never ****ing have anything to do with the NY Post again. **** those assholes. They demean people who are offended by this. If you are gay, black, hispanic or even a woman, and you think something is offensive, you damn well know what it feels like to be laughed off as being silly, which only serves to further dehumanize you and make you insignificant because you have the audacity to be offended by blatant bigotry.
White, Caucasian males cannot be demeaned or offended I guess. What's good for the goose somehow isn't good for the gander.

8. The cartoonist broke federal law. No joking allowed.
People have done time for this.
So much for freedom of the press...

its OK for Bush to be a monkey but not.... a monkey?

Do those ****tards actually think Obama wrote the bill? How Damn stupid are they? Pelosi wrote the damn bill. Civics must not be taught in their schools.

It appears to me the point of the cartoon was that the bill was such a POS that it could've been written by a chimp. As you note, Obama didn't write the bill, Congresscritters did, so the offense is strictly in the eyes of those trying to find it so they can scream "Racsim!"
However, there's a hilarious irony in them calling Bush "Chimpy McCokespoon" for eight years, and then going nuts when they think they see their admitted coke-snorting icon likened to a chimp.

It's sort of ironic. I just finished reading the posts that you brought over about IQs and how smart the DUmmies are compared to everyone else. Then the very next thread I open is this one that displays that the DUmmies are too stupid to understand a very simple and very self-explanitory editorial cartoon.

When I first saw the cartoon, the monkey reminded me of an idea the evolutionists have, namely, that a series of monkeys, given enough time, could randomly type out Shakespeare's plays. Then, the second thing that occurred to me was that monkey that killed someone, the one in the news recently. The third thing that occurred to me is that the cartoonist is saying the stimulus package is so badly designed that it looks like a monkey is responsible for it.
The point is simply that the monkey in the cartoon was not a depiction of any racial stereotype.

That's exactly what I thought.

Actually, Chuck, what I thought of was that it was an obvious attempt to irritate the pack of monkeys at the DUmp. :lmao: :rotf:  :fuelfire:

Only full-blown racist could come up with the same conclusion as the DUmmies....
Very telling, indeed....

The "I'm so offended" card has been so overplayed over the long years, that I disregard it wholly. Same with "racist" and "oppressed."
I'm deeply offended when throngs of people worship a common man as if they're worshipping God. However, I don't expect them to get out their violins for me.

Apparently it wouldn't be ok to call Obama "Chimpy McCokespoon" like they did Bush.
