Title: What if Bush is found not guilty?
Post by: LC EFA on February 18, 2009, 12:39:27 AM
There is still a deep undercurrent of BDS running through the DUmmies. Knowing the depth of their rage and hate makes me sleep better at night :-)

What if Obama prosecutes Bush and Bush is found not guilty?   Updated at 12:46 AM

A guilty verdict in any prosecution of Bush and/or his cronies is not a forgone conclusion. Some people seem to think Obama can just declare Bush guilty and that's that, but it doesn't work that way. Would Bush be tried in a military court or a civilian court? Who would sit on the jury? Where would the trial be held? Who would be the judge? What evidence would be admitted and what evidence would not be admitted? A criminal prosecution is not as simple as it might seem, the OJ Simpson murder trial probably being the most famous example of that.

I'm not saying Bush should or should not be prosecuted.

I'm just bringing this up as food for thought.

Sometimes we have to be careful of what we wish for.

I know that heads would be exploding all over DU, which can't be bad.

10. If an honest investigation, and I emphasize the HONEST,

indicates that Bush is as pure and innocent as new fallen snow, that should end it then. Obama does not have to have his Attorney General's office do this. Congress should. He can prod Congress to do this. If a Congressional investigation turns up proof of wrong doing, then his Attorney General can take it from there.

It won't end there for most of your fellow DU'er. You'd be screaming like a pig in a poke for the next decade.

13. Why not let an international court indict and convict Bush?

Edited on Tue Feb-17-09 08:11 PM by JayMusgrove
Just turn him over to the guys in the Netherlands. I'm sure the jury will be more fair and just.

Bust and his cronies, all in an international jail for the rest of their life. True justice!

Oh how I can dream.

Heck, why not just invite the UN to come and rule you like a king. Asshole.

15. If they charged Bush, there would be so many charges, that

they would get a conviction of something. That's why if you commit what you think is one criminal act. you are always charged with 10 crimes for that act.

Just imagine how long an indictment of George Bush would be. Longer than Don Giovanni's list of conquests.

Is the magic indictment like Pinocchio's nose... the more you bullshit the longer it gets ?

17. keep those monsters in court, defending the indefensible, for the REST

of their unnatural lives

let them use their ill-gotten millions keeping one step ahead of the prosecutors, be they state, local, federal, or international.

A perpetual witchhunt. What a wonderful use of taxpayers resources.

19. Obama should just punt it over to the UN.

Let the UN try Bush. In this country, it would be all but impossible to find an impartial jury / judge panel.

I wonder if this little clown realizes what he's wishing for.

21. It's the mother of open and shut cases. To say they aren't guilty

or even possibly not guilty is denial of reality. But maybe we should just give up the constitution of the United States. Maybe we should stay with a new elective dictatorship model where the executive branch determines each term whether they will abide by our laws, checks and balances, or Constitution. But let me know, because if we are, I've had enough with this sick place on earth.

My word. The truth comes out in all it's brain numbing glory.

Even the new fuhrer's eminence grice handlers see the poison in any "prosecution" of the Bush administration.

It opens NEW investigations on the clinton administration -- including new appointees from that administration, new investigations of the carter administration, world without end, amen.

And even the deep and painful stupidity of the new fuhrer can see that allowing any foreign power to hold legal sway over anyone in our country means that they hold sway over the members of the current and all past administrations.  Soros will not allow his actions to be judged by anyone.

This one is a non-starter, but not for the reasons many of the left would think.

In the DUmmy mind and soul there is only the darkest of thoughts and emotions.

Greed,envy,anger,and in this case vengeance.
It isn`t enough that they got the President they wished for this time around they have to get even to make their lives whole....or so they think.

Their lives will never be that because they seek the impossible, happiness via the actions of others rather then from inside.

They are shallow, empty shells of humanity living in perpetual disappointment and failure not realizing that they write their own script for life.

Unfortunately, neighbor, there's some DUmb****s who will try to make a "citizen's arrest."  Those that do attempt this should be hanged.

And they will try.  There was an article that came out in the UK Telegraph yesterday which ended, "America is as divided as it has been in perhaps any era since the Civil War.  It's going to get uglier yet."  Ya know what?  Mr Delingpole (who wrote the book Welcome to Obamaland:  I've Seen Your Future and It Doesn't Work, which I'm getting ASAP) is right.

ETA:  Mr Delingpole's first name is James, in case anyone's wondering.

I hope that President Bush is enjoying his golden years.  If that means that he logs in to the DUmp for an hour a week just to laugh his ass off at the BDS that still fires the DUmmies, more power to you, sir.

There was no link, I'm wondering if anyone responded to MMonk?  Anyway, those of you who pay property taxes, see where your taxes go to school these people.  I've never seen such an astonishing lack of civics knowledge than at the DU.

The ultimate irony would be if President Bush had a mole there, or maybe Teh Rove.  :rotf:
