Title: Cops called to kid-friendly venues more than strip club
Post by: Miss Mia on February 17, 2009, 04:14:34 PM
Cops called to kid-friendly venues more than strip club (http://www.bakersfield.com/hourly_news/story/691054.html)

Which venue would you think gets more reports of trouble calls: Déjà Vu Show Bar or Chuck E. Cheese's and John's Incredible Pizza? The strip club, or the family-friendly pizza shops?

Well, the kid's birthday bash spots take the cake. They've each been home to more peace disturbances in the last three years than the club, according to statistics gathered from law enforcement agencies.

And oddly enough, so have Skateland, Fox Theater, Riley's Tavern, Riverwalk and Rabobank Arena.

We asked for statistics to see how often police get called to various kid's venues around town, as well as some other popular non-kid's venues to compare. We also looked at how many annoyances were reported for each.

Among the family entertainment venues, Chuck E. Cheese received the most peace disturbances, with nearly 30 percent of the calls for service being for just that.

-snip-

Maybe Chuck E. should put a VIP lounge in the back.

I think Chuck E Cheese does already sell beer.  That's what this guys that works here said, that's why he'd even contemplate taking his kids there.  LOL!

I hate Chuck E. Cheese's. After an hour in that place I'm usually in the bathroom with the muzzle of my pistol in my mouth trying to work up the courage to pull the trigger. Seriously, the noise in that place is excruciating.

Might I suggest putting the number to the local suicide prevention hotline on your cell phone?

I haven't been to a strip club in over a decade.  Remind me how that "focused" part works.

As it turns out, it is a national as well.

They sometimes end up as riots, where people throw chairs and tables at each other. Chuck E. Cheese's has disturbances partly because of parents who are involved in bitter divorce cases mixed with their children. I remember Chuck E. Cheese's as Showbiz Pizza. Their pizza was okay at best. Also, it is popular with college students because it has beer and food at a cheap price. A good way to spend the night.

Count me OUT! (shudder!)
You all realize that a VIP room at Chuck E. Cheese would feature those horrific animatronic characters...stripping. (puke smiley)

I called them once.  I found out they outsourced to Pakistan.

They asked me if I could drive a truck.

that's on day shift.  free tip:  never go to a strip club before about 10PM.  you are definitely getting the second (or third or fourth) string.  :-)

LOL!  I can see that point of view, but then again I work at a car dealership and we used to go to titty bars after work for drinks.

I work with the old ladies upstairs now and they don't see the fun in titty bars.  You should get your boy toy to take you.   LOL!
