The Daytona 500 is just a week away and man does time fly. No sooner than Football ends and NASCAR is setting up for a superbowl of their own. Good times sportsfans. Good times. See ya'll in a week for the big show.
Speaking of that, c'mon Tony buddy, get a good time for yourself today old pal.

He's one of the top 3 that had to make it in on time. He ran well.
Which reminds me--I've got to change my avatar . . . Baseball season isn't here quite yet.

Bill Elliot impressed the hell out of me with his run.

He's won Daytona before, so he's a threat again. He was fast today for sure.

I remember one of the Brickyard races back a few years ago, where Awesome Bill from Dawsonville had the #9 Dodge Intrepid out in front and Rusty Wallace was in second, back when Penske was running Fords. They were coming to the green with maybe 10 laps to go, and Elliott hit the acceleration line with his foot to the floor. Rusty was in his dust. Elliott opened probably a two-second lead by the end of the front straightaway and just drove away from Wallace to win the race. Today, he looked that good again. Although, Tony Stewart looked pretty good--and so did Juan Pablo Montoya. BTW, Montoya is going to win something other than a road course this year.

The 2010 Camaro is the pace car this year. I wonder how much GM paid for the privelige.

I wish the numbers stayed with the drivers. Now I gotta learn me a whole new set.

Seeing that Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch won the Gatorade Duel races, this is what the lineup will look like (at the link) . . .
